Patch Update #469 - Released 12th July 2017

I played this game nearly 7 years .. its the worst update ever and it will affect on tanki first and on buyers second .. anyway why this update the worst one?

I will give you a hand

1- repair kit .. usually my position mamoth on flag so freeze attack or fire or whatever from these guns with unstoppable shooting for a while they can kill me and take the flag easy due to this unhelpful repair kit

2- new system for respawn take long time .. skills of the most players will be nothing .. I will explain .. we are in farm 4 vs 4 or noise 8 vs 8 or even silence 10 vs 10 usually isida lost his drugs in def or whatever who lost drugs he will do self to back with full drugs but this update make it harder!

3- about when someone die also is bad .. lets imagine I am in my base with enemy flag and no one here from my team usually players use the wall to die there so my dead tank will block him for a while to let my team back and take the flag again

 

anyway I write this by voice all the arabs buyers 

we will stop buy we will stop play until the old system back

Delete this update!

I can live with the Repair supply, I think. It shouldn't affect me too much.

 

However, I think the effect granted by the pickup version of the Repair Kit should be reverted back to how it was pre-update. Repair Kit drop zones are simply far too exposed to do any good (since you simply stop healing if you take damage).

Daily missions are a great way to earn crystals and drugs 

True. And any good reward requires a lot of work to be done to get it. That's why missions were removed from PRO - to eliminate any possibility of abuse to get easy rewards.

Players that used a lot of drugs never had problems, as it was like fighting with an AK47 vs pistols.

 

I am not a fan ov the overdrive myself, but imho the game seems to be more leveled now between buyers and free players. And your argument about "those few bucks" -> if all free players leave the game, you would end up with very, very few battles and face only players that have the same amount of drugs as you do. Are you sure you would like that?

See, this is the mentality 'druggers' face in this game. Let me explain something, we are not taking advantage of some loop hole, or gaining some unfair advantage, we've been using a game feature Tanki implemented. So to imply we all just want some advantage (your 'are you sure you would like that' comment) is a disservice to people have actually, you know, spent money which supports this game. Id think you would have a more friendly attitude towards their side of this discussion.

 

Im a drugger, Use em a lot. Im not rich, and my online game budget is modest, yet Ive still managed to have absolutely no trouble shelling out the 13 bucks (watch for sales) every so often. It works out to being cheaper than paying a monthly subscription to some other game (unless you just go nuts). So if you think its this miracle I-win button, shell out the 13 bucks and be this god you think it makes you for the next several weeks.

 

Again as I suggested earlier, they could have tweaked the pricing on supply kits until more people use them. Im a drugger, if I just wanted some advantage over most people, would I be suggesting an idea that makes it more prolific?

Maybe bringing the old repair kit mechanics is not an option for the devs, however a new rk mechanic 

Is needed, i only use rk when i am attacking and being attacked, this means i will always have just 1000hp

From rk, that is very low for a titan that am upgrading to 4k hp and i always have DA on.

 

Please rework the RK mechanics, 1k hp is not enough you nerfed RK by 75% for me.

Dm mode is the hardest mode hit by the RK update, since in team modes u have half the players on the map on 

Ur side so ur back is dafe where in dm it's free for all so getting a hit from any side while healing will guarantee you

Almost always get only 1000hp from RK.

Update on repair highly favors continuous-firing turrets.

 

I'm sure this was already said but I'm not about to read through all this crap

 

Also, the sound effects are distracting.

Just when i thought you guys couldn't stuff the game up anymore, somehow you manage it. Overdrive sucks and just turns battles into bigger drug fests than what they already are!. Overdrive should be able to be switched on or off in all battles not just PRO battles

With the overdrive and changes in supplies gameplay in standard battles changed a lot. There's too much focus around the overdrive and people care too less now about controling drop zones for example. Overall I don't really like these chages in gameplay (especially the overdrive thing) and I think sabotage becomes even more of an issue now. Battles with no SCD became rather lame with the nerf of RK. Despite the fact that making use of destroyed tanks was a quite useful tactic from time to time changes in respawn time are ok to me. Happy to see the "G" key being introduced, it's really helpful. As for XP/BP, I don't expect playing that thing anytime soon, can't give any feedback about it.

Dude, check @Maf's profile. He left playing this game, may be afraid of Legend M4s & now preaching sermons here like he is a Tanki expert for some free crystals package being Moderator. In reality, these Moderators noobs will always support these developers otherwise how could they earn free crystals  :angry:

I played this game for 6 years and have experienced most of the stages of development first hand. I've been here when battles included ranks from sergeant to marshal and lieutenants had M3s. I've been in drug wars where you try your best to take the lead for hours only to be dominated by some clan in the end. being left with nothing. I experienced it all first-hand, so I'm pretty sure I know enough to be able to tell good updates from bad ones.

 

The reason you don't see me blindly hating this update like a lot of people here is because I consider all parties when judging an update: the developers, the players, the newbies, the pros, the buyers, the free players, etc. I know that every update is made to benefit some of those parties while inevitably being a disadvantage for others. But that's just how game development works - you can't make everybody happy at once.

 

I get why players hate the missions update - devs took away the ability to easily farm crystals and supplies without wasting your own supplies and, in some cases, with minimal time spent (e.g. 1 kill battles to get first place). Sure, the update wasn't perfect because it also made missions inconvenient for honest players who play exclusively "real" PRO battles (like the ones on Serpuhov, or formats), but nevertheless it was a necessary change because players were getting rewards far too easily, and the idea of missions as challenging side quests was obsolete. So yes, that update was bad for a lot of players, but it was a benefit to developers, as well as honest players who didn't know about the mission exploits and struggled to complete their missions in normal battles.

 

This is the last thing I will say here about the missions update. This topic is not about that. When it comes to this particular update, I see absolutely no reason to complain about anything, other than for hardcore druggers to complain about their beloved repair kit no longer making them indestructible and powerful compared to free players.

 

And FYI, I don't always support the updates. I know it's hard to look through 13k posts, but on numerous occasions I (and some other helpers) publicly expressed criticism regarding certain changes. And no, we don't get paid to praise developers. That's what I'm telling you. Whether or not you want to believe it is none of my concern.

Even though repair is now nerfed, i must say it's fun killing the dummies who apparently didnt take the time to read how supplies changed XD

 

The update on repair makes me use a lot fewer of them.  I would've thought tanki want more used b/c that means more are sold

Ok I know I am repeating myself but since the topic has sort of settled down now maybe we can offer constructive criticism?

 

Here is an adjustment on the Repair Kit;

 

Here is an option for the Repair Kit. It heals 1000 HP instantly, then it keeps healing at 400 - 500 Hp per second till it has healed either 4000 HP, or the tank has reached full health. It's kind of like back in 2013. It's still possible to kill the enemy if they aren't careful and activate it too late, but it also doesn't nerf it into the ground and make it a 'run and hide' supply which it is right now. 

So instead of being full HP in 3 seconds if you take no damage, this one will heal you over 7 seconds but you can still take damage from enemies. Now remember that 500 HP is nothing, a weapon on DD will easily beat if its a 1v1 or if he gains a teammate. You also can't activate it at last second as well otherwise you will die before given the full effect, making you plan ahead on your attack. 

 

Like it? I think it could work.

The repair kit nerf has really helped parkour a lot because saboteurs aren't so indestructible anymore, and the abuse of going on kill sprees in parkour is on a decline since they would have to keep pressing their repair kit key in order to stay alive, which they would eventually run out of repair kits in their inventory if they keep doing it.

seems like an interesting idea, but against such sniping turrets like rail/shaft/hammer/magnum, this repair will be worse. Currently u can full repair against 1 rail/magnum easily to prepare for the next hit, if this was changed to like 7 seconds of slow repair, u might die much sooner, also in close quarters m4 isida does 500 damage a tick if i re-call correctly. This may, or may not possible work. However I believe that many players have already become used to this repair for now. It is annoying in parkour, can't fight drugged parkour wars now with this repair.

That is definately 1 positive, but also dont forget that for some team parkour stunts u may require a spam of repairs which was more possible with old repairs and now you might result in death more often meaning having to reduce one player which in turn reduces impact force for the stunt.

Why do the developers waste their time on this CRAP when they haven't got time (or interest??) in fixing the BUGS!??

every update you make, you make the game worse, how many times have you made this update before? were we happy? we were complaining about that update before, then you make it now? do you even think about us? what is the point from this update? you make what you want without even listening to our opinions ! if that update will stay, i am leaving .

You still have the instant 1000 Hp upon activation, then 500 HP per second afterwards.

 

I know what you are saying, but Repair Kit would be better for short rang turrets as well as long range because it won't stop if you take damage. Right now if an Isida is shooting you, you get 1000 HP and this is it. With my idea you receive more, just at a slower rate but you will at least still stand a chance.

The changes made with the repair box are a waste! That sense has to use the box if you only lose life, when the enemy shoots you, the repair stops ... Changes only affect the good sense of the game !!

 

You must correct: LAG, FATAL ERROR and give more crystals as a gift.
