In one scenario, the game is dying. In the other scenario, the game is of the age that it is old and losing all its players. You could also look at it like a business that is dying, versus a business that is losing all its customers. The difference is pretty profound when you look at it like that.

IMO "the game is old and therefore player loss is expected" argument is total malarkey (wanted to use a different word). A fast-paced MMO tank arcade game is timeless.

 

If the word 'tank' sounds antiquated, introduce 'drone' - instant modern appeal. But that's really not my point.

 

Again, IMO, what's driving most players away is that this game LOOKS old. The graphics look a decade old. Tanki needs to modernize the graphics in order to keep players 'interested'. Sure, players rage and quit over updates, but the bigger loss is due to the game's inability to visually evolve.

 

I was hoping this would happen with HTML5 but recent vlogs make me doubt it. "You won't notice a change" sigh.

My only remaining alt-account is Ricosck. That is, Ricos Suck! Meaning, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em (fully MUd (M2) Boar Kit).

 

Vulcan was hard to use, but very effective for team battles. (Sarek_V was my alt-account for Vulcan.) Now, it isn't quite as devastating, but it seems much too easy too use. I used to be able to defeat Vulcans anytime I was close by circle strafing.  Now they seem to have no trouble keeping up. Of course, I'm driving either my regular M4 Viking, or the M2+ dictator of Ricosck. Neither lightning fast, but both used to be fully capable of circle strafing a Vulcan. Not now.

 

So, the current Vulcan is too easy to use in my opinion, but having not used it in several months, and seldom facing it significantly in battle, it is hard to judge where it stands on the OP scale. As is, isida are sadly overpowered, and totally frustrating. Isida stinks.

I'll talk about me and about all arabs and other communities about the new Update #469

we are the players who bought in this game , we are don't accept the new update this time , Tanki change a lot of this game to the worst  and a lot of players left the game because this reason , we are dont talk about the graphics or update the balance ,we are talking about the supplies , in the past it's was full drug it's was really strong battles in the game and the excitement was not normal , But after this tanki  start change the supplies to worst add the update  smart supplies ,and that time we make a lot of topic but tanki like all time don't listen for the players and more players left the game , And now we are talking about the new update for supplies ,tanki must listen to  us before any update ,tanki need to give chance for the players to say opinion ,  end of speech we want returned the supplies like before or we will stop buy  and stop play in the game  this time will be not like before  , all know this who buy for this game they are play full supplies (hard format ) not the players who play xp or another because for these players dosn't need a good garage or micro . , again we want the old supplies .

Finally i hope from tanki make vote about this update .

Hello..the new update did not like the Arab and non-Arab players there are many problems in the current update I hope I change the update as soon as possible.

Sorry but that is not true at all. That myth has been debunked quite a few times already by developers themselves. What's true is that Americans (both north and south), Europeans, Russians, Asians, Australians spend far more than any single community on its own. The only difference is you seldom hear them brag about it. Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with bragging about that, everyone is entitled to it. However, don't take the bragging of a few as facts.

Actually, that's precisely what they're doing by building the HTML5 version.

 

 

Actually, the whole point of the matchmaking system is to kill off the mults.

If that is the case then why are they adding such ridiculous and unpopular changes to the game. Fix the problems first then make changes. It's like taking a street car and putting a racing engine in it to improve it's performance before you have made the car able to handle the power. You know you might be surprised that most of the problems with the game would disappear if you fixed it first instead of wasting time coding updates that actually make the game worse.

 

Come on really, You automatically kill a tank by running into it. You might as well put the April fools joke in about flying tanks. Also the other power-ups are almost as ridiculous. You will need no skill just play bumper Tanks. There's an Idea why didn't you change the name from Tanki to Bumper tanks online.

 

I am however a fan of the match making system since I play the exact same system in "War Robots". It almost makes me wonder if that's where you got the idea from since it is such a good idea.

 

Lastly how many years have we been asking for these changes? All we've gotten is promises. It's time for the Dev's to put up or shut up. Oh that's right, they've already ruined the game.

No question about graphics.  I've played Tanki X and I am impressed with the models.  Hell, TX Vulcan actually looks like a real-life Vulcan with a circle-looking barrel that actually spins up, and the firing animation looks awesome too!  

 

That's not to say that TO Vulcan doesn't look awesome in its own right.  It's too bad it has a hexagonal barrel, though, and when spinning up, it seems that the texture is spinning up, not the actual barrel itself.

 

While you are right about graphics, let's not forget how impressionable the core gameplay and mechanics is too.  Seeing how TO's dev's are happy towards change, TO's core gameplay keeps changing, for better or worse.  

 

Granted, adapting to change is always best for survival.  However, as many disgruntled players will testify, accepting these many changes is sometimes conflicting.  Perhaps too conflicting for some players to swallow and keep playing.

I disagree. Graphics do not drive current players away. They only dissuade new ones. Long-time players are used to the graphics and play the because it's fun, but when new updates are put out, they leave. Maybe TO could use a graphics update. But it would lose some of it's "feel," which is why if there will ever be a graphics update, I hope it will improve the quality of the textures, improve effects such as lighting and shadows, and replace the current bush sprites. There's no need to significantly alter things. Besides, most players have low-end computers. For those who want better graphics, there's Tanki X.

One reason I'm not a buyer is because I don't trust Tanki with my digits, but since they introduced many gift card options, I may do a purchase when needed, if Tanki is still enjoyable or course.

Accept U  bro Thank u for this words! heal update is not one noob update at this patch! They remove Ur Tank's skillet saving time from 4 sec to 1.5 and why? it's using to stopping enemys tank for 1-3 secs and.. too respawn time! from 1.5 to 4? what a fu*k is this?  i don't said about heal bro this Supply was died R.I.P 2009-2017 .... ththey losing players everday.... 2 my friend (biggest buyers) almost leave tanki for this update...tanki admins...where we go? Thave Tanki Online's a good future?  50-50? no no i think this game nearly died...

Judging by the amount of non-PRO battles on the battle-list of a few servers, this drugs nerf has not lead to an exodus from drugs battles and it's here to stay. Only reason it won't stay is $£$£$. But I'm seeing huge RK usage....for every overdrive being used an RK from the players' drugs cache is also being used, so I can't see this patch costing Tanki £$£$£.

You are aware that Overdrive does not take from what you have in stock?
