Yep yep, I do agree on many thing you said in here especially about the Hulls. And it seems like you are actually doing brilliant job by MU them all even the none-famous ones which might/will take turn into something we never expected before. Better start before it is late. (:

 

Which is the more reason to actually MU every hull you can once and leave the speed-ups. Especially since now MU one every time without the speed-ups equals or is close as MU on 50% sale and 70% on speed-ups. Worth it, isn't it.

There's no reason now not to MU your hull and turret to 10/10 as rapidly as you can afford. MU it up and trade it in when you rank. Save the kit buying for LtGen and up to aquire 2nd, 3rd etc hulls and turrets.

 

I just hope that this overdrive nonsense can be turned off in custom battles, which by the looks of the coming changes is the only thing I'm going to play.

Last week I stopped playing my Striker account. I like Striker but it is my least-developed account and the game is more often frustrating than fun.

 

But custom battles only that is an idea. By the time this  7-OD system is in place I'll have close to 3,000 each Supply from the tripled missions. So I can coast for moths w/o needing to do more missions. Then fini.

 

Though in reality once you start to walk away from a game you soon start jogging, then sprinting. . . .

I know haters gonna hate, but no matter how good I am, the game is hard and frustrating. It just isn't fun. I can lead the team, and we can win in a well contested battle, but it still isn't fun. There are too many factors that just amount to chance. It is like playing chess where your every other move is determined by a roll of dice. No matter how good you are, you get nowhere.

 

Tanki, how did you do that? How did you manage to make it where the most skilled players cannot count on any strategy or tactic? Nothing works consistently.

 

We used to have unique equipment that we could choose depending on our style and objectives. Now, the twins still let me brawl (after you forced me to fork over the crystals for the alteration to restabilize my plasma and not blow myself up more than anything), but it is a sluggish brute that has none of the finesse I used to have mastered. Same for smoky. Same for rail. Their uniqueness and difficulties were so beautiful, so hard, yet once mastered, so glorious! XP, the choir of rails, yes? Not any more. Now, it is run and gun and hide. Anyone can do it. No one can master it well enough to count on tactics and skill most of the time. More often than not, it is just a matter of luck. Sure, skill improves chances, but when Fortuna is the only power in the game, we are all frustrated at her capricious whim.

Well said.  I am so frustrated with Tanki, I'd like to quit but I am an addict.  The turrets used to be so much fun and so different.  The hulls all had unique characteristics that altered the turrets effectiveness for the good or sometimes the bad.  The supply usage was a tenth what it is now...you used to get chastised for using a repair kit, "drugger" was up on the chat in a flash...now it is par for the course. Tanki has thrown in whistles and bells and plan more silly ODs.  And, we have a real 800 pound gorilla update in the works....Matchmaking.  

 

Matchmaking will probably be the final straw for me,  I foresee long waits to start a battle, battle disintegration as soon as one side starts losing,  never getting to play on maps you prefer, even more difficult Daily Missions, and many more seen and unseen side effects.

 

It is a real pity since Tanki had a game that was timeless and would have generated income for them for years to come.  Now they will fold in a year or maybe two and blame their demise on "outdated" technology..."people just don't care for these "old" games like they used to".  The fact is they continue to turn their game play into something that is, like you say, luck somewhat effected by skill instead of mostly skill. It is quickly becoming nothing but a kids game...and kids have a proclivity to change games frequently..  Too bad for Tanki...pity, that.

Tanki online has lost many players since the updates in the past few years. The real reason behind merging all the different servers is so tanki looks like it has more players. I remember when there were a ton of servers and they were full. Also, TO is giving to many advantages to buyers, like being able to buy kits in the shop whenever they want. The real reason? Since TO lost so many players, they need more $$$. With "Overdrive", players no longer need to buy supplies and therefore making everyone 2x more o.p. TO gets worse every year.

Actually you will have an option to use the matchmaker, create your own battle with all the options that pro pass currently provides, but for free (including a custom name for your battle), or choose a battle from existing battles. Unfortunately you will only be able to complete missions with the matchmaker.

Right now I see not many people are using the overdrive supply. Maybe it's cause they don't want to or they don't know how. My suggestion is that the overdrive should activate on its own when there are 3 or more tankers that don't have overdrive to 100% around somebody who does.

You are a genius man, i like the rk update even more now, now i am not worried

About getting low on rk since i mostly used to use it to counter rk use from other tankers, now i can easily

Nullify there rk use with twins.

 

Thanks Hazel i gotta admit this the first update i like in some time, Keep them coming man.

I haven't played TO for a while now and quite frankly I haven't missed it.

 

world of tanks has now taken over, it being a much harder and satisfying game which relies on players skills / strategy to out manoeuvre and outfight the opposition. Realistic physics make compensation for shell flight time and trajectory a vital skill to be learned. The battles being so realistic end for you when you are destroyed but you still get a share of the spoiled depending upon your contribution.

All in all a more realistic experience than the cartoon shoot-em up that TO has turned into.

 

WOT will not suit everyone especially those that want to pay to win at all costs as talentless buyers will still get snotted by the little guy with perfect position and technique (unlike TO).

 

I will drop in occasionally to look at the forum and chuckle at the same gripes being predictably aired (and ignored) by the next crop of saps while the core of die hard druggers inevitably diminish.

 

I hope for everyones sake that the owners realise what a mess the devs and managers have made of this and have a cull to clear out all the inept. If not it will soon be time to put this poor lame animal out of our misery.

The old repair kit should be brought back in the overdrive, so players can benefit of having two versions of the repair kit. That sounds more fair.

WoT is realistic? Calculating shell trajectory is hard? Wasn't TO supposed to be a casual shoot-em up to begin with?

Because OP premiums, equipment, and gold ammo is definitely not pay to win.

Of course players who drive Japanese heavies, play arty, or have a brick on the 2 key have plenty of talent and skill.

I see no reason for the buyers to diminish currently. In fact, if you have premium you get 2k crystals everyday for free. There are plenty of shop items. Game balance (currently the worst problem in my opinion) doesn't bother them, they roll over all opposition. Supplies update gives them more chances to use their drugs. Shiny new turrets and alterations are there to be bought. The more new content there is, the more of a reason there is to buy. What, in your opinion, drives away buyers? I only see updates that can be frustrating for free players, but that doesn't matter since they don't earn money for the game.

 

I hope for everyones sake that the owners realise what a mess the devs and managers have made of this and have a cull to clear out all the inept. If not it will soon be time to put this poor lame animal out of our misery.

Interesting, the devs think they are on the right track. In fact, part of the reason that we have this string of updates is because the team was completely re-organized. Also, how do you put a game out of its misery? Shut down the servers? That won't happen in the near future.

Tried WoT a couple of times, I found it too realistic and slow paced for my liking. It'd probably grow on me if I played a bit more and took time to understand the rather complex mechanics but I doubt it.

This was my experience as well. I found WoT maddeningly frustrating to the point of actually googling "what am I doing wrong?" Eventually I became a passable entry level player, but got bored with the ultra realistic complexity and came back to TO

how to get RAILGUN M3

Rank up a lot. Like really a lot. And save. Buy one or two things and your rank and just keep upgrading them until their fully upgraded. That way you will have M1 before you're supposed to and will make ranking up easier. After that just save. Do NOT go into the garage for anything otherwise you will be tempted to use your crystals.

When the developers notify us about new overdrives?

 

The current overdrive is too basic and simple. We need more overdrives.

 

In V-Log 139, the developers have discussed about the new types of overdrives they were going to add. This V-Log was two weeks ago.

 

This August 2017, we should see more overdrives being implemented and the upcoming HTML5 and the matchmaking system.

 

Modification Overdrives

 

There are M0, M1, M2, M3 & M4 turrets, hulls & modules.

 

We need to have different modification level overdrives, so that players can use more overdrives as their modifications increase according to rank.

 

M0 Overdrive

 

M1 Overdrive

 

M2 Overdrive

 

M3 Overdrive

 

M4 Overdrive

 

The M4 overdrive must have lots and lots of overdrives and be very strong and effective.

The current overdrive is too weak. Please add the old repair kit to the overdrive and a shield dome that gives 100% protection from all turrets for 30 seconds. The overdrive must also have a magnet for snatching gold boxes from the parachute for easy capture. The overdrive must have more supplies added to it. A good supply to add to the overdrive would be a bomb to destroy all enemy tanks at once.

 

There must be 2 versions of the repair kit. The current updated version that restores 1000 HP, and the old version (in the overdrive) that restores 4000 HP. That would make players more happy to have both versions. I see so many players activate the overdrive and they die too quickly. Please buff up the overdrive.
