Can we maybe change overdrive so it can only be activated by the left shift because sometimes i have to write something and when i comeback i accidentally slam into overdrive and im like 'no one was around so that was kinda wasted'

Overdrive(s) is bad for the game, Matchmaking not so much.

i actually think its the other way round, because if you find a good battle in matchmaking and then you want to invite your friend to it, you'll have to leave and create a battle group, and then hope to find that battle again.

The system sees both the left shift and the right shift as the same button :/ however, you can easily change the button to something else from your settings-> and then click on controls. You will get the same as the last pic in this wiki page: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Settings . Simply change the 'shift' next to overdrive into something else, perhaps '7' so it's like another supply etc... ;)
