V-Logs must Become Longer and Explain Things in Mode Details

Recommended Posts

Every week when there is a new V-Log, I watch it. I have seen all the V-Logs, starting from episode 1 to current.

The current length of V-Logs is too short and does not go in full details. V-Logs must be made longer and thoroughly explain more about upcoming updates and development new. The V-Log creators must make V-Logs a bit like live streams, where questions are fully answered and where upcoming updates, sales and development new are better explained in much more detail.

For this to happen, the time of V-Logs must be something like 30 minutes long.

V-logs are not the kind of media that's meant to explain things in detail. Those videos are made for players with little time and/or a short attention span, so they have to be short and straight to the point, giving only the basic info. If you want more details, you need to watch the livestreams, as well as follow people like @Cedric Debono and on the forums, as they sometimes give extra details.

Very few people will bother to watch a 30-minute V-log start to finish, not to mention that it will more than triple the effort required to produce it (if devs want to keep up the same production standard).

Maybe if they were a bit longer, like 8 - 10 minutes. Sometimes you get 4 - 5 minute ones and they feel a bit short. But 30 minutes is a bit long I think.

But the basic info isnt enought. In the last v-log all what they did, they spoke with russians. I dont know anyone from en community who didnt understood that custom battles will not go away. So basically, tanki kipped 1 week, becue they repeated same thing they told already. and i dont know about others, but i was boored from this repeted and basic info. We need to know more details.

It all depends on the amount of news there is. If there's nothing to report then what's the point of dragging out the video length when everything has already been said in previous V-logs?

I do agree that the Vlog's  duration - information ratio is bad. If they want to keep it short, it should be no more than 3 minutes - including VOTW and question of the week.

OK. My suggestion is to have all V-Logs 10 minutes long from now on.

No way to guarantee that. It all depends on how much happened during the week, because that's what determines the amount of content and therefore the duration of the video.

That's not a stupid idea. Even if my ideas are declined, they still put good and better ideas in peoples heads and persuades them to come up with better ones.

V-logs are at the right length they need to. They provides all the information that TO wish to communicate. There is no point to add inanity and useless information to them in order to make them longer. It currently takes the right time required to convey the dev messages, no less no more.

If questions and clarification are required there is always the topic in which they are posted in to cover thoses.

I am not trying to become famous in any way, but please understand that I have good suggestions in mind, even if they get declined, my ideas still put other ideas in players heads for more suitable thoughts. At least, my ideas helps, both the developers and the players.
