It would be amazing if players could control the drop rate on how quickly it takes for a gold box to drop. Players could drop the gold box very quickly or very slow, depending on how long it takes them to reach the drop zone according to the current hull they choose. So players could set a certain amount of drop rate so that they can manage to collect the gold box without having other players catching it. The gold box could also appear on the ground if the player chooses to.

Set gold time to 60 minutes and watch everyone try to get it while you cap a few flags.

If you cap a few flags and take the gold, then it won't be a bad endeavour.

 

But controlling the drop rates would only result in players making it come down immediately, and where's the fun in that?
