Reworked CP mode

What about some reworks for CP mode. Capturing CP needs 2 players from same team instead of only 1. It will be more realistic on bigger maps and it will reduce farming EXP because no longer can 1 player run across map and capture all points. Consider my idea if you think it will help! Thanks!

I feel like this would only make CP mode frustrating. There's already a bonus from 2 people being on a point because it captures twice as fast.

yea right try waiting till another players comes to help you cap the point in large maps

The only positive way to have a reworked CP mode is to bring its old system back where players on your team picks up the point and when the point goes up, all players on your team would automatically earn +1 crystal and +1 point per point that rises.

 

When your enemy picks up the CP point, your current number of captured CP points will no longer decrease, but remain fixed. The enemy team would also earn +1 crystal and +1 point per point that rises. You team will not lose crystals or points that are added to the battle fund when enemies capture.

 

Please accept my idea, and implement it into the CP mode in Tanki Online. This would be a much better way for players to earn more crystals from rising points (+1 crystal and +1 point per point that rises).

That would likely result in crystal farming.

No. There will be no crystal farming because players would gain +1 crystals and +1 point per rising point.

They can cycle through and still farm crystals.

I've been in battles where the team doesn't seem to care about the CP, they are too busy playing TDM. Just today, I saw my team mates within a few feet from CP"s of opposite team. None of them even attempted to change the color. If this be the case, I try to go around and change them myself. Before the merge of servers, I'd put a "boot" up my team's rump by saying in team chat, "Why is this map (red/blue...opposite team color)" or "Come on team we can do this." Most times that was enough to wake them up. But now, I feel I'm talking to the wind and just do it myself. 

 

If this was implemented, getting CP points would be too difficult. In some battles it's hard enough for one person to change the color, especially if the CP was in or very near the enemy's base. Quite often, if a team mate sees the color changing, they will come help.

The only thing that annoys me about capping a point, is that 1second delay between seeing the CP circle full, and the base lighting up and get the point capped.

I bet this always happens to you which gets on your nerves. You see the CP circle full and leave the point only to see it not being captured, you go back and boom your dead.

not any more, as I learned the hard way..

but it makes sense in some way, as even a cap with 5 players takes a bit longer (reduces the fund and points per hour) and gives the others more chances to destroy that bunch of tanks before they spread out into all directions again.
