Completed Add special visual effects when picking up supply boxes

Supply boxes right now, disappears and goes up in the air (about tank height) when they are picked up. That doe not properly simulate the picking up of wooden supply boxes.

 

To make the visual effects of picking up wooden supply boxes, the developers can re-create the visual effects so that when players drive into them, the wooden crate boxes break up and then the supply is activated with a cool and better visual effect, just like the recently added overdrive mode feature.

 

Driving into wooden supply boxes to pick them up would really be a realistic way to show players on how supply boxes made from wood looks like when picked up.

 

A glow of the distinctive color would pop up of the wooden box when a tank drives into it. For example when players pick up any type of wooden supply box, the color would depend on the type of wooden supply box.

 

1. Repair Kit - Green glow

 

2. Double Armor - Brown glow

 

2. Double Damage - Red glow

 

3. Speed Boost - Yellow glow

 

There are no wooden supply boxes for mines yet, but if they were added as a pickup wooden box, the mines would be stored in the garage of players to later use.

The first one probably won't happen, but it's definitely possible to add some kind of glow for supply activation.

The glow effect will happen when the wooden supply box is broken. Wooden supply boxes will only break up when tanks drive in them. I have seen many visual effects like this in many vintage computer games like Crash Bandicoot.

The tank now emits a short "glow" effect whenever a supply is picked up or activated.

Thank you so much for adding this glow effect when picking up supply boxes. This glow effect was released with the new hull overdrives.
