Declined Custom cursors for Tanki Online

I have seen many games where players can choose to change their default cursors to custom cursors. My suggestion is to have custom cursors which has many different colors so that players can personalize how they want to make Tanki Online favourable to their preferences.

 

The custom cursors must look like the default Windows 7 cursor, but with different colors.

As you can see from the two examples above, Tanki Online can use a standard set of cursors where players can choose to choose and customize the color they want.

I am quite sure that every Tanki Online player wants to personalize their Tanki personalization experience by changing the color of the cursor to emphasize their needs.

Yes, of course. Players can refer back to the default cursor by selecting an option to set as default to revert back to the original Windows 7 cursor.

Custom cursors can be used on both the Tanki Online game and on the forum. This works for the global interface of Tanki Online.

The reason why the mouse pointer cursor must keep the original look of Windows 7 default pointer is because it must be easy and flexible to use. The only thing that must be customizable is the color and even the cursor size.

 

Changing the cursor size can also help players with bad vision.

Your suggestion is valid, given the way we handle ideas nowadays. So no one takes away your "declined" status and will put it to "invalid" (even if claimed by players).

The point is, that this specific idea is simply not very useful. And if players write that they do not agree to you / that not many players agreed to you, then it is their well deserved right of stating their opinion.

 

The point of the ideas section is not to get "your" ideas into the game, neither it is about "my" ideas. It is not about the persons who invent them and write them down first. It is about making the game better, in a way that really does some good to the players and/or the company that runs the game. So it's not about the ego of the inventor, but about to work for the others in order to have a better game for all.

 

So to simply add "more features" just for the sake of it, or some "fancy ness without fun factor or economic aspect" does not always make it "better"
