I agree. Moreover the most powerful thing I've seen here on the easy-to-dismiss forum was back over on the patch update thread where four or five players publicly posted that they quit the game immediately. If there are orders of magnitude more making the same choice and just not posting....

Don't get me wrong. I do not want to see this game die. It's frustrating to see so many leave, driven away by updates while flash errors continue. Why not implement html5 first - impress your players with the ability to improve stability, update the graphics (expletive deleted), and the. Introduce these new features. I can't follow how or why new features are being deployes in a dead framework....

...unless we are already running HTML5 and just haven't been told yet??? I hope this is not the case since the dishonesty would be unforgivable.

One other thing - there's a lot of wisdom circulating about how Tanki doesn't change throughout the rankup process. Drugging notwithstanding. This is why many players quit between Marshal and Commander. Tanki should unlock maps or abilities later in the game to give players something to play for and toward. Gismo super missions are just not enough.

Finally, when mission chain rewards return to normal levels in September, I'm probably stopping missions completely. Standard battles are just too crazy. I'll stick with custom battles. Not sure if I'll stay Premium, but I probably will.

So long as there are players left in the game.

.

Yes I am sure there's a tip-of-the-iceberg effect here too. OTOH many players who say they will quit do not or take some time about it. I am sure the gaming industry has a handle on those things. We do not know what TO is thinking because like any company they will put on their best face for the public.

As for myself I think TO thinks TO is in trouble because to me they are taking quit a bit of risk changing their flagship product so much.

The pace of advance in TO is eye-poppingly slow IMO. I am amazed a game  has lasted so long with such a tedious upgrade ladder. (But I hear this was not always so.)  AT m3 one MU step costs hours of time played to gain a 1% boost to your turret parameters. And the broken economimc system and the "sales" means most players wait weeks between these MU steps.

Leveling up at the high levels in games like WOW take time too, but you get more interesting things than a 1% parameter bump. And that game economy is not so broken that you have to wait for a "sale" to take advantage of your gains. SMH

I once posted a backstory idea that's accomodate new parallel  development ladder. But I doubt the compan is willing to invest the resources it'd take to so something truely significant. It's an old game. they are just wringing out the last of the juice.

Right now "super-missions" are a pain.

I'm basically stuck playing only "normal" drug-fest battles because if I devote time to Pro-Battles it will take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to complete the super-mission. For time being I only have 2 (3 with switch) choices on daily missions to keep weekly chain going.

Won't be re-newing my Pro-Pass until my "super-mission" is complete.

I've not had a SuperMission yet but I suspect the reward/time ratio is better if you simply do 1 extra normal mission every day. What I am trying to say is It seems like they ain't worth it.

If my wasp on my aly gets the "see health" ability, Im going to spoil my whole crystal spending plan for the next 2 years :P

Srsly though, that one needs a buff...the other sound AWEEESOOMMEEE!!!

See Health + DM + Correct Turret(s) = Kill-Stealers' Wet Dream. Watch out for splash damage!!!

Only reasons I kept it were...

1) based on experience and not kills or crystals earned

2) award was crystals so... guaranteed that much when I (eventually, sigh) complete it.

But you may be right - the ratio may not be worth it, and it does "force" me to basically play only normal battles.

Good chance I just ditch it next time.

Yeah I don't know how good they are. True yo eventually get the reward. But it is a bridge I may never have to cross. I have been less than 5,00 exp pts from MajGen for more than a month now I think, lol.

Well, hold the phone... if your super mission is based on earning experience AND you are getting crystals as a reward, you might want to consider completing it with a Premium Account. The 50% increase in XP is counted toward missions (so are double earned crystals BTW), so with a Premium account, it won't take as long as you think.

But a super mission rewarding supplies? Puh-leaze... supplies are less than worthless.

Gold boxes aren't worth it either.

XT Reward- right now, I wouldn't even take one of these - not until I know what devs plan to do with XT skins.
