Self destructing does not penalize you with death.

This is not stated in patch notes as intended. What is going on?

I am getting -1 kill when i self destruct but i do not get +1 death.

Just came from a battle and I actually got -1 when I was self-destructing since I had to change my equipment. Are you sure about that? I will double check it just to be sure.

 

Edit: I just joined a battle to see whether it actually works or not and to be honest, nothing has changed for me so far, same for few other friends I asked to test whether we get the same results or not and all results were same, not sure what you mean. Here is a picture of it.

He is not telling us about if it is still there, he asks for the patch note which contains information about 'self-destruction not penalizing you with a death' I think. If there is no patch that contains that information through those 469 patch updates, it must be from the early beggining, although I think there must be.

After a little bit of testing and testing I got the exact same result as you showed me in the picture, sometimes it happened the first time I joined a battle, I pressed delete, self-destructed and I didn't get the +1 death but in other cases I got the +1 death. So to me also it is quite strange how it works or when you we get the +1 and we don't. I'm pretty sure, yours is also same as me where it does that from time to time and not every single time you self-destruct. It is more like..., let's say smoky critical damage, you might never know when you will get that critical damage, in this case the 0+ death.
