Overdrive enables while typing with Shift

Umm... I have this tendency to always type with a capital letter (Left Shift)and keep my English clean, even in-game. That's really nice, but... I am having this weird bug/glitch/something: Whenever my Overdrive is 100%, and I chat, my overdrive activates :/ So...

 

@Ninja: Did you try clearing your cache?

Me: Yes I did

Me: Tanki Client doesn't have refresh...

Random tanker: Why do you have to type when overdrive is 100?

Me: So that I can say where I will activate overdrive. 

 

Now, this problem happened to me a long time ago, where if I typed 1, 2, or any number below 6, that drug would activate. That problem doesn't happen anymore, but the Shift problem has remained :/

Why not use the ''Caps lock'' instead of Shift? It is same and even doesn't take more than couple seconds. You can write anything you want and use your over-drive supply at the same time.

Haven't tried with the caps lock, but as far as I know, we can't give these special keys a different feature. I tried changing my 6 key to Scroll Lock, but that didn't happen. Plus, Tanki's probably gonna ban me for typing in caps.

No no, you won't have to type in caps. Since you want to write the first letter as capital letter, press the caps lock, write the word/letter you want to start with and and press it again, you done. You won't be writing with caps unless you leave it in there.

it happens to me too. i'm using a french keyboard so i have to use shift to type any number, so everytime it activates when i try to type "100%" to notify my friends. and i used to have the same problem with drugs as well and goldboxes as well, although it now happens much less frequently. (20+ out of the 31 repair kits I've used got used when i tried to type 100 during may holidays and tanki birthday)

Changed key to Z. It isn't helpful though. Z is very hard to get used to, furthermore, since my fingers are in WASD position and not ASDF position, Z key is very difficult to reach (the ring finger is on to be on the S key during typing, and that's what presses Z, but during WASD position, it is not easy to press Z). Often I mistakenly press shift or X. I really need an alternative now.

those of us using french or spanish or hungarian keyboards need to use shift to type numbers. i don't care about grammar but i need to type numbers... and don't ask me to spell out "one hundred percent" it takes up too much precious time.
