Declined Dropping Mines on Flag Points and Control Points

Many times I tried to drop mines on flag points and control points and it does not work. I would like the developers to add the ability for players to drop mines on flag points and control point bases so that enemies capturing flags and control points can get damaged or get killed in team battles.

This was specifically done for two reasons:

1. Since Flag and Control point platforms aren't part of the map's terrain, any mines placed on top of them will be completely hidden by the platform, since they will be inside of it. And that's not fair to the enemy, since they have no idea of knowing that there's a mine there.
2. Placing mines so close to the flag would allow players to place mines right on the flag, meaning that opponents won't be able to touch the flag without triggering the mines. And that means it's impossible to steal the flag and not die. The problem with that is pretty obvious - a complete stalemate.

What about on control points, though? Since you would only have to be about 6 meters from the point to start occupying it.

Yes, of course, you can drop mines on both control points and flag points.

That would just disrupt the balance of the game anyways. This idea will never be implemented into the game because mines are supposed to be seen by the enemy at close distances and cannot be an element of surprise in those circumstances.

There should be mine box dropping like regular supply boxes. When the mine boxes are picked up, they are stored in the players garage. Players can choose to activate and drop the mines at a later time, just like the gold box supply.

Remember that what you can do to others with new features, others can do it to you as well. That's why a tank with 10k hp is a bad idea because everyone will be using that tank and nobody will be dying.

 

And don't do to others what you would not want others to do to you.

Then people would camp for those boxes. It is basically just like crystal boxes so please think before you post.

It's simple logic. 
It would make the enemies (and even your team) harder to take another team's flag, and would make the gameplay more boring. and more Pay-to-Win as well.
