Warm Up Time

Recommended Posts

Warm up time will have to change a lot of stuff. But i think it

should be fun.

In warm up time (during battles) we could visit our opponents base and check their equipments and

their modules. Then according to that we could change our equipment. And after warm up we can

not visit the garage. This update should help us in the following ways:

1 Making escape routes with the flag or trying new ways to run away from enemy base

2 Trying out ways for team placement (like where to defend or attack from)

3 making sure that our equipment is according to the map

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO GO THROUGH MY TOPIC FULLY

I am sorry, but your idea, as does not make much sense because of two reasons:

Get known to the map:

A warmup time that is long enough to _learn_ a map (paths, hideouts, camp spots, shots, shots, more shots, def positions, ...), will let other players fall asleep. If you are unfamiliar with the map, create a private battle and play it alone. If you do not own a pro pass, this issue will be solved once the matchmaking is here.

Team placement:

Players do not listen if you ask them via chat to to this and that. Even if they do, they die sooner or later, and noone takes over their spot. The game is not about beeing on the same spot all the time; it is more about beeing killed, check your base during the flight time of the camera, spawning somewhere(!), and fit in your teams setup as good as you can.

Fixed positions can be done if you play with a clan and if you use voice communications with disciplined members.

Modules

If you like to adjust your modules to the other teams turrets, and adjust your turret to the other teams modules -> this does not work well. Because they do the same, and you equip protections vs turrets that they have in the warm up, and that they will not have after the warmup. And according to your proposal you are then locked into this setting as the garage is not accessable for some time.

hint: a useful thing is to play a bit with a not max-efficient, but less-efficient turret.. and wait until they change their modules (I play Wasp-Freeze on Polygon CP until 3 tanks equip an anti-freeze module. I pick those who have none yet, to make as much of them change as I can). THEN you take the most efficient combo and toast them, while they can not change the module for 5 minutes (like I swap my Wasp-Freeze to a Titan-Twins and yepee-I-eyy :D)

edit: besides that we will get a short time before the battle starts with the matchmaking system.. at least for those players that join early and have to wait for the battle to fill up.
