Odd problem with Client|Engine rev sound effect heard after battle

Does anyone get the tank driving sounds get stuck on a loop even if you're not moving, or the application actually ends up in the background or you're not even in battle??  This is getting annoying..  Anyone else had it, or have a problem?

Yes, I do get it too. I don't really find it annoying much tho as usually I play with sound off. Has this happened to you only when you use the client or did you try the browser too?

 

Regarding the glitch of getting it when you're not even in battle; it happened to me only once, and if I remember correctly if you enter a battle and leave it gets fixed.

sometimes client is even closed and i still get those sounds so i have to kill virtual machine and restart it

 

volume turned off, i still hear noises like i am alone in battle and it deosnt stop until system restarts..

CLosing the client is the only thing that will fix mine... its like bad elevator music on a loop when it gets going, I'm going to have a go with SA-FLASH again see if it makes any difference.

Thanks, seems to obvious :)  Have to admit I get used to just looking in ideas and suggestions, and make you mods do all the hard work.

 

So far it doesn't seem to happen in SA-FLASH, I'm using win7 for what its worth.

Actually the problem persists in the SA-flash client too, I'm using 23 at the moment.

 

So I have win7, client or SA-player both doing it...

I had such a problem, then I open task manager and close the application properly, in my case it happened when the application didn't shut down properly.

So once in awhile after a battle the engine revving sound effect can still be heard no matter what i do (except reload page) any ideas on how to fix this?

When I leave battle, I still hear the noise of the battle (same noise you hear when your screen freezes and there's an error - just very loud tank sounds). And when I join a new battle, it's double noise. And eventually it sounds like a volcano.

I get that from time to time, but refreshing the page usually does the trick. I tend to just deal with it until I'm not in the battle anymore.

No solutions, or work arounds for this one?  Unfortunately I need my sound for other things than just Tanki, and for it to just go on and on when you're not in combat is starting to drive me a little crazy. I still can't get rid of it, short of closing browser/player or client.. they all do the same thing.

PS: seems to be accompanied by a glitch of some sort in system sounds.  Like a hitch in whatever is playing, then tanki becomes stuck on repeat.
