I talk to alot of people who want xt's but they dont seem to be geting them anytime soon.  Most of them had the same reason: you cannot buy the alterations for it.

 

It would be really nice to have alts on xts, it would also help xts gain more popularity

XTs will eventually be merged with standard items, giving them Alterations, combined MUs, as well as sales on MUs during holidays. It would also allow developers to make XT skins for all remaining turrets and hulls.

xt is just a skin so its pointless to have alterations

Not sure about that. XT will probably be optional.
