I just started a new account, and I was very disappointed with no much Gold Box falling for low ranks. Reaching 40k xp and only 2 Gold Box drop, come on.
I mean if the game trademark is the Glob Box, and people stumbling on a Gold Box video decided to try the game because of it, they would be also very disappointed not to see any for the first 40hours of play. Furthermore when there is holiday event with the promise of more GB (via the higher rate or value or x2 founds), this is hardly noticeable at low ranks (even more disappointing and frustrating).

So the idea below is about an alternative GB system for low rank (from to ): the proposal is about a more relevant drop rate (like 5 times more/ std) and a lower GB value (like 100 crystals, so it would not break the game economics).

Sorry, but your idea is too vague. I get the problem you're describing, but you didn't suggest anything other than "find an alternative system for low rank", and I have no idea what kind of system that could be and whether or not it could be implemented. Please add more details and quote my post to notify me.

Well, let's see what could happen here.

 

Pros - newer players can learn about it from the very start.

- gives them a little bit of crystals.

- gives them a little taste of what it will be like as they progress.

 

Cons - could potentially cause mult outbreak.

- possible sabotage I guess.

- devs are lazy.

 

 

Just my thoughts on the idea.

I agree. The lower ranks have very low battle funds and very few GB. Even in ranking up, funds are low. I know, that encourages new players to become buyers, I get it. 

 

Since this is about GB at lower ranks, then I'll stick to that. I like the idea of more GB at lower ranks so the new players will get a taste of what it's like to catch one. It was mentioned above to have a GB dropped at the end of the tutorial. I like that suggestion. It's like a reward for going through and the Devs saying, "Thank you for choosing to play our game. Here's 100 crystals to get you started. Happy Tanking." Would that really break the economy? Would that make Tanki go bankrupt? It's a one time deal. If a player does the tutorial again, no GB, no funds. 

 

Please reconsider the negative rating of this suggestion started by Viking4s.

Or the system should count how many times a Gold Box has drop for which players and adjust the rate for that. So, let's say a group of players in a battle have not seen a Gold Box in lets say 5000 exp, so a gold Box drops for this battle even if the battles is slow as long as it has a good number of players, all with more than 5000 exp.

 

- Player 1 has 5000 exp

- Player 2  6000

- Player 3  7000, and so on.

 

After the Gold Box has dropped....

 

- Player 1 0 exp for the next gold box

- Player 2 1000

- Player 3 2000, and so on.

  • 7,3 cristaux pour Brigadier (estimation),
  • 9,6 cristaux pour Generalissimo,
  • 9,9 cristaux pour Legende.

You take the average from all the player in the battle and set a specific ratio.

Sorry, still declined. First of all, we don't accept ideas for changing gold values or drop rates. Second, I don't think that the Gold box is the main motivation to play the game for a lot of new players. People start to play Tanki because it's a dynamic 3D in-browser game that has easy controls and low system requirements, not because some box falls from the sky and people fight for it. So there's no reason to put in any effort into making golds more common at low ranks.

I understand were yiu coming from, but consider it like a non expensive way to promote the game or inticed people to player further.
