Remove Alterations

In my point of view, alterations just cost too many crystals for players. The problem with alterations is that it makes one parameter slightly stronger, but weakens all other parameters. My suggestion would be to make all the parameters of each turret and hull customizable to replace alterations. The parameters of each turret and hull must have a slider button so that each player can drag the slider left or right. When the player drags one of the sliders left or right, it will also automatically change the other parameters as well to make sure that the turret or hull remains balanced. When increasing damage of a turret by dragging the slider right, the other parameters would go down to keep the balance of the turret, and vice versa, for weakening damage and raising reload time and other parameters. The same thing would also happen on hulls.

We had this suggestion before and I spoke to the developers about it. The answer is that it's the game dev's job to make stats for turrets and hulls. Average payers simply don't have the skills or the experience to be able to produce a good setup by manually changing the parameters, so if this was implemented, most attempts at making a custom combo would be terrible. Besides, very few players are actually interested in spending ages making custom parameter settings, so why should developers waste time making something that very few players will use?

Making a custom combo would be very simple. Players would need to increase or decrease one parameter and the others would adjust to the correct balance of the turret or hull to reflect the new customization.

Dude alterations are good. Let's say I use thunder. An alteration takes out self damage. But gives 0 splash damage meaning I do the same damage but only attack one tank. Now let's say the alteration works differently. I do splash damage, but no self damage. Alterations need to be balanced too.

He does not understand anything about alterations. If you think that alterations are too expensive then why not save up.
