No response from Tanki after reporting a problem

I'm frustrated. My controls dont allow me to maneuver my tank. Many times it spins in circles or will not stop, etc. I reported the problem. Emailed the problem. Promised someone would get back to me and NOTHING! There never is a moderator around to listen or respond. NOTHING! I feel like a leper who is so insignificant you couldn't care less about the problems I'm experiencing in trying to enjoy the game. What's up with the cold shoulder?

Further, I was informed that Tanki would get back within a day. It has now been over a week and a half. No response at all. Nothing. No instruction, no communication, nothing. Why? That's not client communication that's just running away and hiding. Why can't a real person take the time to at least do what's right?

@Hate means whether you use a browser/ the official client etc..

Can you send us some screenshots regarding your encounter with the TO support? If you can send us whatever email you sent and received it would be better so we can look into the situation better :)

 

 

Don't worry @Duftanker, we're here to help you. Tell us all the details you can please so we will look into the matter and resolve any bugs you encountered and any problems you faced with Tech Support. It's likely a small misunderstanding, but nonetheless that's why this section is here :)

@Duftanker once you fill one of the forms you have to confirm them all in order to get a ticket yourself so did you confirm it by going to your email and following the link given in there? Also my first question should be clearer now. I'm assuming that you sent an email to them instead of using one of the new forms they have made, correct me if I'm mistaken.

Probably I know what the problem is.

Do this thing, whenever your tank starts spinning or moving in a particular direction, press the keys for the exact same direction for a sec.

What I mean is if your tank start moving forward automatically because of that problem then press forward key and now your controls will be back to normal. Same in case if you spinning in a particular direction, then press the key which will make your tank move in that direction for a sec..

This is the solution..

 

Now tell me, are you using a Laptop ? Cause this will most probably occur in laptop with "variable" or we can say "sudden" change in voltage level .. or if you are using a PC and you don't have a U.P.S to control the voltage flow.

 

This happens when there is a sudden change in the voltage (because of this your keyboard shuts down for a sec due to overloading).. and since Tanki  is a flash based game.. the Flash Player registers your last pressed key and makes a somewhat infinite loop of it..

 

You can only remove it by pressing the exact same key which was pressed just before the problem. In short the key in which your tank is stuck.

Ive filled out the forms and no one has gotten in touch. Come on. Please just tell me what the heck is wrong. Every day I try it and still the same problem persists. Why can't someone just email me and let me know what is going on. Why the cold shoulder?

We helpers have nothing to do with the Help Desk at all, what they do is what they do, we simply help the players. We can't slow or fasten anyone's progress when it comes to the support team. We are same as you, normal players who help the CM to whatever we can, wait their response.

Yes I received a ticket number but there has been no response at all after receiving that email.

Sometimes it can take up to 7 days. If it has been more than 7 days and you haven't got a reply, feel free to send another email to tech support.

Nope it did not fix the problem. Three weeks now and no one but you has contacted me. Controls are utterly worthless. Can someone make this a minor priority? I frankly don't understand the lack of interest in helping clientele. Your comments are most welcome.

No one responded to the emails. Nothing. I cannot find a telephone number to call. Nothing. No one responds on line. Nothing. And the only ones decent enough to give help are Mihak, Hate and Ghost Animators. So what do you recommend I do? Please advise. Thank you.

There is no power fluctuation at all here in Detroit, Michigan. I use a laptop AND a stand alone. It happens on BOTH! Spun around and around today. No movement. Then uncontrollable movement. Total frustration. Is there a way to watch the movement from the builder's offices? Just total frustration. I wouldn't feel that bad if the email had been answered. But nothing, not a word, not an email in response, nothing at all. Why is that?

Their answer takes 24h to 1 week, if they didn't answer you within that time, feel free to send them another email.

your not the only one having these issues , I have also had them for a few weeks now .. also they could have been on holidays , give it time and if they don't respond in two weeks send again..

Hi, I've checked with the people from the help desk and they sent you a reply on the 24th of July asking you if you can record a video of the problem, which might make it easier for them to determine the cause.

 

The reason no one from the help desk responds here, is because they do not have time to read through the forums of each community just in case someone might need their help. It would keep them away from doing their work at the help desk.

It's where we come in, if players report a problem here on the forum, we can pass it on to the right people if we are unable to present a solution.

I've also experienced this myself on occasion but there are a few ways to stop it. If for example your tank is turning to the right without you pressing anything, click in the active window you are using to play Tanki and press the right key. If that doesn't work, try opening the On Screen Keyboard (accessible via Control Panel) and then close it again. I would also try to refresh the browser or client just in case.
