Buying gifts and sending it later

Recommended Posts

The gift system works like this

Buy->write nickname and some notes->immediately send..

What if we could buy and save gifts in inventory, and send it to someone later?

because we can buy high priced gifts only on sales, and not everyday.

Declined

You just said the exact reason why it doesn't work like that. If gifts could be bought and kept, then everyone would stock-pile them during promotions and never buy any more for the normal price. And if that was to happen, then why have promotions for gifts at all? Permanently lowering the price by 25-40% would have the same effect, and as you may be aware - we do not accept ideas for lowering prices of items.

There is a little bit of merit to the idea though.  I can understand you wouldn't want people to buy to many gifts in advance, but sometimes its all happening during the sale, prezzies are done, sales over, and you think.... "damn it janet" I missed someone being able to have 1 or 2 spare would be nice.

It is not that deep. People would rather thank you for the gift + message rather than just the picture of the gift.

I'll have the ice cream any time of the year, even in winter :P

Anyway, I don't see much point in storing gifts for later, really. It is more convenient to buy it and send it to whomever, right then.
