You can still choose which map you want to play on, just not for Missions. For Missions, which should only take up about 2 battles of your day, you've gotta play a random map. Is that really that bad?

 

 

I would say it is.......

 

The mission(s) I am faced with will often determine which turret and hull I want to use for maximum effect - that is thrown out of the window unless the map option is also available.

 

I dare say there are players who normally avoid certain maps, under similar circumstances, for other reasons too but this would be the main one for me.

This is just the "Battle" button on steroids ... did anyone actually ever use the "Battle" button? And if so, why?  I never saw a use in it except to create a battle on a server where none of my ranks played.

Yes I used the Battle button when I had a "all terrain tank", a smoky with hunter, because isprepared for any type of map. After buying mamoth shaft I could only play in long range maps, And in my other account with wasp hull I could only play in little fast maps :P

 

But the Battle button is nice if you want a challenge, after you done all missions hehe

I must say I'm quite impressed from this system. Of course the teams might not be even sometimes, but it's far better than before, where most of the battle were one sided.

The waiting time could be looked upon though. I understand it takes time to find similar players, but the average time went from 20 secs to over 2 minutes.

The server makes every legend battle with the lowest possible rank in mind, captain. Since most players are legends, the ******ed matchmaking system only puts me in battles against m4s. It was at least nice to know what you were up against and only have to play against m3s, but now i dont think ill ever be able to complete a mission again.

Well, Tanki, you've done it again. Once more have you made the game worse. I have been playing it every day (EVERYDAY) since January 31st 2015. Since mid 2016 you began by fidgiting with it making it less interesting every time. The match making system:

1. you have no choice regarding type of arena - I am a shaft and it does matter to me if I play Highway or Molotov.

2. the wait time is very long, but at the same time you can find games through the old system without the wait. Odd.

3. once you've decided on a random game you can't access chat or go to the news while waiting in queue.

4. mission points/crystals can only by earned now through random games, not through the old method  of access that is also available - why? 

 

Tanki, instead of concentrating on crazy, illthought ideas you should be more practical - change the method of arena search by giving the option of going over the names of the arenas - like Highway, or Rio instead of by server. Some people like just playing Highway or just Industrial and so on. Make good changes. 

 

Finally, I have no idea why you once decided to narrow the sniping angle for shafts. These turrets have great advantages, but also major disadvantages. Narrowing the angle did not improve game play.

 

Also expalin the efficiency system. I have continued to go down the spiral line falling in my ranking, although my k/d is improving, my average in killed units per minute has also increased, but still I am playing worse and worse according to the efficiency scale. When I asked Cedric about this he replyied that this is a secret and he cannot share the thinking behind the system. This only makes the system feel more corrupt.

You can only say this because you're a Legend. I doubt your opinion would be the same if you had a lower or middle rank.

You mods, you are not developers, please stop replying to people just for replying.

I'm not a mod or a dev. I'm a person, trying to reply to people. I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to do that.

- I'm seeing longer and longer waiting times, and this is not good for the test and the goal of the system if implemented. The problem could be the free option to create battles, because many are playing Custom Battles and not using the Matchmaking. Custom battles should cost crystals, like I said before, about 100 for Recruits and 1000 for Legends for 100 hours of play time.

 

- Because of the few players in the queue I'm seeing Recruits fighting WO2s. Not good.

 

- Of course, all these could be different when there are more players in the game later on. Right now there is about 12 200.

Okay first off I turned on the subtitles.  That is great white text on white background, super easy to read.  Not to mention having to rewind it multiple times to re-read the speed text.  

 

Next I have yet to see how to play Tanki with my current friends and at the same time finish my missions.  

 

Load times for the battles seem long 2 - 10 min to get into a battle with 400 players in queue? You only need 20 players.  

 

The balance is off when creating the battles Marshal in with 9 Legends is not balanced.  

 

Unable to go behind buildings in Highway is ridiculous, that is almost immediate destruction from opposing shafts.  

 

If you open the battle list and change servers why must you open it again? 

 

3 hours of Tanki tonight to finish 200 xp for 1 mission, none of it was able to play with any of my friends.  Not fun.  

 

I haven't figured out the Group thing yet.  Why can only the creator add friends and not others?  When they join battles why is the group not all included?  

 

So frustrated with a lot of these changes.

And what's the point of not letting us continue in the same map when the game ends?

Congratulations. You have succeeded in making it twice as long to complete missions. 

 

Mind you that does not mean I am actually playing Tanki twice as much. It means I spend twice as much time to play the same amount of game. First I get to wait 1-3 minutes in a queue. Than another 30+ seconds waiting for the game to spawn then re-spawn. Then as alwasy with Tanki the first 2-4 minutes of any new map is full of lag until th ebuffer catches up. Then 6-7 minutes later the new improved 10 minute game ends. I cannot continue the map/mode so I re-experience the queue wait, the re-spawn wait, and the lag cn't play the game well wait. 

 

Hint: Adding so much dead time it accounts for half the log-on time is not repeat not a good selling point outside Russia.

 

Remove this before tomorrow please. Might as well maximize the time left before this is permanent. Once it goes in so long mission chatn and that means so long Tanki Online

GAME MATCHING IS HORRIBLE !!!!!! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE "MAP" I LIKE TO PLAY IN AND ALSO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE MAXIMUM RANKING PLAYERS IN THE BATTLE !!!

You can choose which map you want to play on, just not if you're looking to complete your Missions. You can play regular battles the whole day if you like, just Missions will need to bed done in these battles. It's possible, and if you feel it's too hard to complete a certain mission in a particular map, exit the map and re-enter.

 

The ranks are a problem, which should be fixed.

 

we are forced to play higher ranked players that is not fair do not like  matchmaking 

Rank brackets should be changed.

I'm speechless that anyone could have thought this was a good idea. This feature (if you can call it a feature - there's no avoiding it) just pits you into a random map which doesn't suit your tank and turret, with opponents with far higher spec tanks where you become cannon fodder for their feeding frenzy. How are you supposed to complete missions like that?

 

Please remove this feature, then destroy the code and all copies of it (including backups), then fire the designers and developers involved.

 

This isn't Tanki Online.

Waiting times should be fixed soon, I'm assuming.

About playing with friends while finishing Missions, good point, I'll pass it on. Loading times should be fixed. They were fine when thy were testing it on the test server. Rank brackets should be changed as well. It doesn't send everyone in the group to the battle? I didn't know that. Will pass that on too.

 

And what's the point of not letting us continue in the same map when the game ends?

Guys, this feature is still in development, and we are currently testing it. Before you guys go against something, test everything. Tell ups and downs. Only then we can make it better.
