This update has many bugs and problems, a lot of patent imbalance, and lag also increased, so please solve these problems, and in my opinion, you should instead be a totally random battle, you could just leave a number option Most of a map, since not everyone has good FPS to play on big maps, I hope they improve this update, otherwise it would be better not even put it in the game, it would end up losing many players who have just started the game, and make the Old players stop, do not leave this game "Pay to Win" I love this game a lot but they are spoiling it little by little ... thank you for the attention!

I don't usually comment about updates, but this time I have to.. My personal opinion about this update is that everything sucks in this update.. Especially it takes too much time to make daily missions.

 

This update is also supposed to create more balanced teams in the battles?

Guys guys guys gals: This is a TEST. Problems SHOULD be fixed before it is implemented in a few months. Now, we will probably disagree with each other and the devs on what a "problem" and a "solution" is, but I doubt the devs are so stupid as to just wholesale adopt Iteration 1. And this test is probably Iteration 5, and It.7 will end up being adopted.

IDK what your battle efficiency is, if you have a link I'll take a look. I think that rather than try and mess with rank brackets, they should sort on what upgrade level is in your garage. (BTW, if you are a general and u show ur damn face in a game I'm in while running M0s, I will probably drop a load of obscenities on your head. Seriously, I was being whooped by two 3stars in Rift CTF, and a 3 star joined my team, running M1 Titan and m0 shaft. In Desert CTF there was a 2 star knucklehead running m0 wasp and m1 isida. In.Furi.Ating.) Grouping people by the upgrade level of their turrets should level it out. My m2.3s can deal with a m2.10, but if I have m1.6 I can't take it.

@maching by battle efficiency

The proposals you quoted were adressed to the dev's (and Hazel knows my propsal). If you like to check it, I described it there (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=341236&p=5860339 - one long post, and another one a bit down).

In short words it meassures how you perform compared to other tanks in the same battle and in the same team. Those is done every time you play - so by this it rates players over time, and you get the possibility to match players by their efficiency in battle. As a suitable choice of weapons (matching the map and enemies) helps you to play more efficient, and as players with M3 usually (!) perform better then players with M2 in the same battle&team, it also solves the equipment issue (better then just ranks).

 

@matching by equipment

idk if that works so well.. a player could have an M3 titan as he liked to play shortrange maps, but end up in a map where he has to equip his M2 hornet in order to perform.

But as I wrote, I also think that such matchmaking systems work better if the game

1) gives you all the gear you can have as free choice (which will not happen here)

2) or other side you pick your gear and map size first, and get assigned alike.

But I guess for the while beeing some kind of "minumum requirement" would help.. If you most powerfull or most used equipment is below some level, you are matched with players of a lower rank.

The rank might not be too low.. as this would enable power leveling (imagine you start a new account, get an M0 rail + Wasp, fully MU them and stick to those as only equipment. You would fight people below WO3 all the time, while you whoop their butts with ease..)

I like it, only a couple of bugs. 

1:Lag

2:No missions in battles

3:ages to load

4:Sort of unbalanced, some battles are quite out numbered.

5: doesn't choose a battle very fast.

 

1 thing I would like to improve is missions, and after the battle it should just make another battle in that mode for those in the battle.

 

Pretty good update but definitely some cons, if there was no lag, it loaded instantely, and fair battle, chats wouldn't be flooded with #removetheisupdate.

 

If you are going to implement it into the game, please consider these things I have mentioned (they are only a few of the problems)

I must say this is not what I expected from the match making system. I can't even view non-pro battles in the battle list. So, I can't choose what maps I would like to join since when selecting a battle mode I'm being made to play in a random map that I'm not familiar with or that I don't like playing in.

i dont like it, it takes to long to find a battle and ur paired up with ranks to low to play with u and u dont get to look at ur missions during battle i dont like it but the maps look good

What on earth did you do now ?  It's bad enough that you keep messing with the balancing but who could have possibly thought it was a good idea to REMOVE my ability to choose my battles ?  I tried joining a battle and there were ranks that were 6 levels above mine.  How am I going to be able to play when I am grossly out-ranked ?  I saw people in the battle that were 7 levels below mine.  To say nothing of the terrible performance.

 

Whatever you did.... UNDO it.  It's a terrible update.  You have made a mistake. 

 

I have 3 accounts.  I 'buy' on 2 of them.  If this is how you want to run this game, you have lost me as a customer. 

 

I am having a hard time believing that anybody who used this in the pilot project (you DID do a pilot, right ?) would think this was in any way better than the current set up.

 

Suffice to say, if I do not have the ability to choose my battles, I'm out.  Permanently.  Along with a lot of other buyers.

And why end the match, i actually got on a good game, (after trying 5 or 6 times),  very well matched between both teams and the game ended.   :-(  Im not a buyer so I'm sure my comments don't matter much, but can we just leave the game alone for a while.

I'm sure you know full well I have a gissmo, a 4* general and about another 20 accounts. That does not change the facts. And it isn't going to help newer players stay interested when they are getting slaughtered by ranks ten places above them. You are STILL trying to defend the indefensible and failing miserably. Have some self respect and admit what you truly know......This update is insane.

I do not have the adminstration power to check for your other accounts; the few things I wrote I concluded from your profile.

 

10 ranks plus is really crap. The rank ranges were a mess in the time before the matchmaking, but it was necessary for the unfamous battle button. But back then the player could at least avoid it (once they were experieced enough to read ranks). Maybe I can take a midranked alt to play it tomorrow, because in all battles I played now I did not face that issue.

Maybe their setting that decides what is favoured - waiting time-vs-rankMatch - needs tuning.. because if I think it through technically, a system that collects players from all over the servers should be able to give you a much better match then the battle button could (it was limited to the single server).

 

I've seen that this issue is already in the report.. so they won't miss it.

So it seems to collect simmilar ranks already.. but the distribution over the teams needs improvement.

If you take half of the red team and replace it by half if the blue team, the balance would be done.
