Match making system is not good. I rate it -0. It will take more time to achieve daily target and player has to play battle not of his choice. Most players will stop playing regularly, or they will stop taking daily missions instead play Pro battles of their choice.

Pro's and cons of the matchmaking system

 

 

PROS

. Easier To Find Battles

. More "fair" (unable to continue a battle)

. Neater (easily accessible) game list

 

 

CONS

. Unfair rounds ( RECRUIT being able to play with a LEGEND)

. Lag is increased with the matchmaking

. Rounds are 1 - 2 minutes completed by the time you enter 

.  Average is spelt as " avarage" ( "avarage waiting time")

hell with the update I didn't like it and being in this rank i always getting legends as opponents and their m3 are fully upgraded and i still can't buy m3 as of this rank and how i suppose to compete with legends while having m2 equipment 

we (my team which i join as near to my rank where as my oppenent teams are marshalls and legends), we are not even standing a chance of winning

actually the update is really good only you have to do click the battle list below and then click the upper right hand corner that's all

you mean the red cross button on the upper right hand corner? if yes, thats good advice indeed.

 

I have literally no idea why people are blindly hating and flaming in the Match-making topic.

 

Large rank brackets, long waiting times, inability to choose maps, read the other posts if you want to know more, its mostly in simple English.

 

One of the major reasons I believe is that no one watched the video and what's more is that no one even cared for just a bit to turn on subtitles and then watch the video; like, at least try to understand what the damn match-making system is about.

 

Watching the video doesn't help in the battles at all.

 

All of you are saying the rank brackets are too large, well duh freaking DUH, if you at least cared or spared just a second of your life, clicked on the subtitles and watched the video, you'd clearly know that Semyon mentioned that this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values.

 

where in the video does it say all that stuff? this is a test for matchmaking, as the title of this topic suggests.

 

Also, I'd like to mention that if a low-ranked player is invited to your group, the match-making system faults by bringing you both into the same battle with low-ranks or high-ranks; which CLEARLY brings itself to previous point: this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values.

That being said, you guys need to chill and wait for the final implementation. You don't like it, simply don't "test" the match-making system. You like it, well, good.

we're not here to test the system, we need to get our missions done, and there's no other way to do it, than use this terrible matchmaker.

I thought I would like it. My was I wrong. You cannot complete missions in battles created by players, I need to be first and I have no idea what map I'm in. Yesterday I was in highways, about only TWO shafts in the map. Rest of us were short to mid range, smokys, fire, twins, and it was CTF...  Did anybody think this through? Maps are what make or break a multiplayer game.

Just go to a battle and steal everyone's Double Armor boxes, and then skip the more difficult missions the next day...

I think it isn't so usefull, we can join the battles like we used to. This "update" wouldn't be good, because if want to do missions, you must join the battles that has this update ( where writes "play") so there are many battles where playing with Legend ranked players and we are only Colonels or someting like this...That means that we must search a lot of tme, or join the "Battle list", where we can't do the missions...

I hate the matchmaking system because it is very stupid that you can't see your mission progress in battle and you have to wait so long before joining a battle . Also when you join battles there about 5 minutes left so it's worthless to play anyway. Please don't implement this system permanently it will ruin the game

I think 2 days is fine.. It'll be gone tomorrow, tho I do expect quite a lot of changes before this is released as a permanent feature :/

If I understood correctly 'finish first' missions will be altered as it's very hard to finish them now in 10v10. I assume they will be top 3 or something.. we'll see ;)

And dude, update is bad, sorry but it is. Check your profile and compare it to mine. You have M2 everything and are a higher rank then me. For me getting in a battle is hard enough. When I finally get into one, I'm in a bad map, filled with M2s fully upgraded. Supplies are also becoming a problem, as in missions I get like 10 if I'm lucky, supplies are to expensive, I have like 20 DA and 40 DD and 0 others. Again unless I'm first twice I don't complete my mission which gives me 1K crystals the most crystals I've ever gotten from a single mission. This game looked good at first when I played, now I can see it's failing.

If they're top 3 then that would be good, but the mission names should be changed as well to stop confusion.

It's alright man... I took a quick look at your profile, I think the problem (besides the matchmaking) is the way you handle your crystals... I can tell you know the forum well, but I really recommend you view a couple of posts from here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=184384 . I was in a similar situation when I was at your rank. Oh well :(

 

For me, mid-ranks was the worst. Druggers rule there :/ But don't worry, matchmaking is aimed at getting better... follow the tips, and you'll be back to winning ways in no time :) if you would like any tips from me, feel free to PM me, I'd be willing to help :)

 

There are a number of things that will be fixed to the system, and that's the solution to make it enjoyable. The test was mainly to checkbox the system handles a ton of players. I'm surprised there wasn't the amount of lag there was when clan system was introduced. We'll see :D

i dislike the update because:

1)i cant pick the maps i want  

2)it takes 2 minutes in the waiting lists

3)when we finish the battle why does it say it will automatically end 

4)once you start the game it has so much lag

5)Why cant I do my missions in pro battle?

6) Battles only last 10 minutes, after that the battle ends. So if we join a map we like, we can't enjoy it very long.

7)When i enter the battle there are higher ranked players on the other side and on my team there are lowered rank players.

Funny problems, 

I'm general rank, when i click on a battle, i usually get paired with recruits and WO1s, as well as legends. IN THE SAME BATTLE.

Why do you people find more and more ways to destroy tanki. The more updates you bring in, the more i lag. I play League of legends with 85-93 FPS. My system specs is intel core i7, 1 nvidia gtx 720m and i get around 72mpbs of internet speed. But when i log on to tanki and enter any flipping battle i get 999 ping. I refresh the page and the loading bar gets stuck, refresh it again and I cant log in for some reason.

BTW, the new matchmaking update is really dumb. We get to play with Legends. There is 0% chance to win with M4's, Overdrives and drugs. We dont even get to pick our favorite map. Please stop doing these things and for once, listen to the gamers and just shut down Matchmaking System. Its simply garbage. 

STOP MAKING UPDATES TO RUIN YOUR GAME. 

First fix the lags before introducing more dumb updates.
