Testing of Matchmaking System on EU servers

this update in all honesty is rubbish. I couldn't find a game and it lagged a lot. I think its a better idea to keep it as it was before. I lost my mission streak because I couldn't find a game. the update was rather useless as well because we still couldn't find a game with even players. please tank take this into consideration and never do these types of updates again. and yet I thought the clan system was rubbish. I could blab on about the module and paint change but thats a different topic. Get this to top fellow tankers!

This is why I was at the Problems section of the forum.  Something has to be wrong or glitched up in the tabulation of scores.  In what universe should I, JoeGuy, have come in in 5th place?

Can anyone shed some light on how or why this might be other than a hiccup in the MM system?

I have literally no idea why people are blindly hating and flaming in the Match-making topic. One of the major reasons I believe is that no one watched the video and what's more is that no one even cared for just a bit to turn on subtitles and then watch the video; like, at least try to understand what the damn match-making system is about.

All of you are saying the rank brackets are too large, well duh freaking DUH, if you at least cared or spared just a second of your life, clicked on the subtitles and watched the video, you'd clearly know that Semyon mentioned that this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values.

Also, I'd like to mention that if a low-ranked player is invited to your group, the match-making system faults by bringing you both into the same battle with low-ranks or high-ranks; which CLEARLY brings itself to previous point: this test is JUST to see how the server handles the load of the new system, NOT for testing rank brackets, times and other values.

That being said, you guys need to chill and wait for the final implementation. You don't like it, simply don't "test" the match-making system. You like it, well, good.

People also said that battles aren't good, they're facing overpowered people; which again brings me to the previous point: if a low-ranked player is invited to your group, the match-making system faults by bringing you both into the same battle.

It's not that I'm triggered at these blind flamers or that I'm a moderator so I have to act like I agree with the game, NO. It's just no one could care enough to understand what this test really meant.

And if you're saying what to do with your missions, well, I certainly agree with you - the Missions button was perfect where it was. This is because sometimes in the middle of a match, we forget what missions we had to do or complete. But for the time being - and I'm being quite serious here - it won't hurt to see what missions you had before you start a battle, note em down roughly and then keep that paper/note open in front of you.

Supporting my facts above, here's a screenshot, which proves all of the statements I provided above.

And if you're now wondering how we absolutely destroyed the enemy team, listen.

We didn't dominate them, the final score was 3-0 in our favor (it was a very intense match, which also explains why I am - as an Isida - on top of the leaderboard. Most of the people in the middle of the match ran, because our team had more intelligent people than them (for example we knew exactly how and when to use Overdrive, when to go attack and when to defend).

Are you trying to say launching a new product to justify its acceptance you dont need the product ,packaging is enough to let the people know how it feels in your hand ?

Dude get some brain or just stfu.

So, in the two days I played, I think the developers are secretly adjusting stuff as we test it. Just had this game and you can't say it could be better made than this one - exact same ranks and exact same team skills and equipment ( Three Isidas, two Shafts and rest random ). The only difference was due to the supply factor. I think I literally used more supplies than the whole enemy team combined.

I think you forget the difference between "balanced" & "unbalanced". Imagine yourself a field marshal in blue team, gotcha ?? Get an English teacher to learn difference.

Also, in addition to a previous reply that i wrote and what many other mentioned, I didn't see anyone talk about the fact that the concept of "friends" became obsolete with this update. Now I cannot join a battle that my friends are in. Was that on purpose?

I really hope that the developers are reading the replies and taking them into consideration. This update is very limiting and doesn't really make any sense. The best matchmaking is the one done by the players themselves.

Please cancel this update.

Thank you

VERY BAD NEW GAME SYSTEM

Please return at old version.

It's unacceptable to wait 2 minutes waiting to play in an unknown map, and after? not play at all.

It's not possible to choice maps... this is very bad for me; I'm a sniper (shaft) specialist (K/D 4.14) and I cannot play in impossible maps for shafts.

If it will continue in this way, i think I will leave the game forever

Would be interesting to know what the final score was.

This is another issue players have. The division of spoils has always been such that joining a losing team is just not worth the effort.

But now, it seems even worse.

3rd place on winning team with score of 304 gets 336 crys, while leader on losing team with score of 344 gets only 198 crys?

another on winning team with score of 240 gets 235 crys while someone on losing team with ~ score of 220 gets 99 crys?

Just by being on the dominating team you get a better score due to: surviving longer and likely making more caps and kills.

But also getting a better ratio of crystals to score?  Not good.

There is no incentive for someone to join a losing battle. Especially if you get dumped in half-way through and little hope of making a come-back.

Hit exit fast and rejoin the queue.   Yay!

Very bad update. Only updating maps is good  :( .  I am thinking that i leave tanki online forever when this very bad update will be apply. And cherry on the cake, this bad system join me with my smaller account (rank: Warrant Officer 5) to battle with legendary ranks  :(  :(  :( . Missions are making it harder with this update  :(  :(  :( .

Raiting 1/100 points.

And the fact that all games are always filled with ten on each side is a bummer as well.  I liked to get in a small battle with only a couple of each side and play cat and mouse.  It gives you a great opportunity to learn the map and to test out new equipment or tactics.  Little chance of doing that when you are fighting to even spawn without being immediately destroyed.  And why would I want to create my own battle when there is no opportunity to complete any missions?  It was the missions that had me coming back everyday.

I do not like these changes in the game, It seems the changes are too frequent and there is nothing left of the Tanki I used to know. I wonder how much all of these changes will affect the appeal of the game  to newcomers.

I like it for the most part except a couple things. I would really like it if the battles were 15 min not 10. Also I wish there was a mechanic like in tanki x that if you are using bad equpment you go into a low rank batte and you cannot change your equipment. I like how tanki is trying to leave the Pay to Win aspect but they do put in a lot of updates that are not really needed.

Lags lags and more lags. All players not moving with turrets spinning lol.

I'm done for today.

Just remove this matchfailing system, forever. Just put it to trash, really.

I saw your screen-shot of more recent battle and had a post on that.

However, I do question why you posted this one...

It was... 7 L + 3 G   vs  3 L + 6 G + 1 SERGEANT MAJOR

And it's not like the SM joined last-second... 4 kills and 17 deaths.

The score flatters the losing team...

But then look at the rewards again...

1st place on losing team scored 172 and received a paltry 50 crystals.

Bottom player on winning team with score of 163 received 135 crystals.

That is pathetic.  It was 3-0 not 10-1.

Ice cream and this update

You're half correct.  At least - if it's the right ice-cream.  If grape then... blech.

So assuming it's not grape, for a baseball player you'd be doing great.  Analyzing the updates... not so much.
