Testing of Matchmaking System on EU servers

I always watch V-Logs every Friday when they are uploaded. I always look towards the bright future for Tanki Online.

What if I join a 5 hours battle and I want to claim my premium reward in the middle of the battle?

 

We will not be able to do it if you remove the mission button. So what will be the point of premium missions now?

I'm positive that it's not getting twice the winning reward of a five-hour battle without getting the extra experience points as well.

I don't really understand your point.

 

But when we get a 3 hours premium reward, we can collect it a few minutes before the end of a very long battle and we will get x2 funds.

Yep, you can active it before the end of the round/battle and you will get your bonus. In case you want to get the battle bonus as well as the premium daily gift when you log in TO, simply jump into a battle 2 and half hours before the server restart if you find any good and long battles that may last that long, activate it before the server restart so when the serer restart starts and the battle gets forcibly finished, you get your bonus from that battle and after the servers start working again which usually takes few minutes, log in and you will get the log in gift. Double kill, right.

The extra exp point (+50%) are given live, so if the premium is not activated you don't get them.

From activation onward you the +50% of xp and when the battle finish the crystal rewarded to you are doubled.

You were complaining that, when the mission button is relocated, you won't be able to join long battles and claim your reward toward the end of it. I simply commented that I don't think that this is the purpose of premium missions.

Purpose or not, this is the way it works right now.

 

Yep, you can active it before the end of the round/battle and you will get your bonus. Usually, I join Polygon XP/BP 4 hours before the restart, so I can get a good score. So it will not work.

 

Btw, if I claim my reward, join that long battle, and then half of team leaves, I will have to stay until the restart and my premium mission will be wasted for a lame battle and a defeat.

 

Right now, I have the power to chose if I will claim the premium mission or not. Devs just want to take this ability away.

Honestly it can be improved in different ways and I hope they will focus on improving minor and small things in the game instead of just focusing the big things since improving and making very small things when added up together, they can make a big difference in the game.

More matchmaking system tests means that developers can better control the data of players playing in matchmaking battles and make better, more thorough decisions about the future of the matchmaking system. That will ensure that the matchmaking system is fine tuned before it is complete and free from critical errors and bugs.

 

By the way, I haven't heard much news about the HTML5. The developers mentioned in the past V-Log that HTML5 will improve the graphics of Tanki Online.

 

What other benefits does HtML5 hold for Tanki Online?

please ask the developers to do another test asap, we all enjoyed matchmaking very very much. and make the next test longer, instead of just 2 days make it last at least a couple months please. thank you.

It could possibly lead to sabotage indeed, but the chance of someone from your friends list ending up in the same battle on the opposite team is quite slim. Apart from that, many players like battling against their friends also. See it as friendly competition, so the game doesn't intend to forbid friends from playing against each other.

If you and your friends click the button at the same time you're likely to be sent to the same battle.

Not necessarily. There are multiple battles formed at a given time to which players are assigned randomly.

I'm hoping HTML5 means the game can be easily played on android browsers...

 

Testing of the system means all players and the entire game will be messed up for as long as it's being tested.. that's seriously annoying.
