ITS SO HARD TO FINISH MISSIONS WHEN YOU HAVE MACHMAKING SYSTEM IN THE GAME

IT DOESNT ENTER TO THE TYPE OF THE BATTLE THAT YOU NEED TO FINISH THE MISSSION. PLS TAKE OUT THE MACHMAKING SYSTEM ASS SOON ITS POSIBLE

Well I don't even know where to start, so many problems and shortcomings..

 

1. Waiting time to enter battles:

 

Matchmaking kept being advertised as making it easier to enter battles for having some quick fun, and now players have to wait several minutes to enter battles..? Not only that we don't get to choose where to play and who to play with, we also have to wait for an unknown amount of time. Absolutely ridiculous.

By the way, the average waiting time indicator shows nonsensical values, Did not indicate anything close to the real waiting time for any of the battles I entered. This is a nice one indicating no waiting time - still had to wait several minutes:

The wait time should be at most a few seconds. If you can't achieve that => forget about this system.

 

2. "Balanced" teams:

 

On to the next big promise of the devs for matchmaking: balanced teams. This is what the system has come up with:

10 Legends vs a team with 1 Legend, 3 Fieldmarshals, 4 Marshals and some lower ranks. What a joke. One can imagine the kind of slaughter that ensued. And this was no exception. Here's a second example out of only 5 battles I entered today:

Team with 7 Legends vs. team with 3 Legends and some really low ranks? Not complaining for myself, was wreaking havoc with my full m4 combo -didn't even have to use supplies-, but this just makes no sense.

 

3. Other stuff:

 

Seen a lot of fluctuation in the battles. Being thrown into an unknown team and map essentially makes skill/strategy ("playing well") even less of a factor than before. After all, what's the point of playing well when the teams change randomly just to even out a battle..?

Very nice contribution of all the clueless noobs using Rico and Fire on Highway map. A really great experience and loads of fun playing in such teams.. :lol:

 

 

Really, I've tried playing and liking this, but it is so poor..

Oh, Oh I have a thing! 

Not sure if others are experiencing this, but on Osa my fps drops to 7, I have gotten several reports of this happening to other people as well. This wasn't an issue prior to this update and we think it may be linked.

First off, Pay attention tanki (none paid attention for the over-drive poll back then)

 

Not really sure about this, Tanki, why don't you side with the criticism for once beside siding in to which has the most votes or just reading to what the good side of updates are, because there are some really good opinions to what the downside of your updates will be, so far all i'm seeing is rigged, especially with the grouped auto-match, literally a clan would just join a battle then that's it.

 

Due to this update, whoever manages to get a 2 or 3 get first mission will surely have a bad time, and to add this up, not everyone can manage to take the #1 spot in battles so it's not much of a daily mission now if it's more likely to be done in 2 days is it?

 

All of the opinions i've just pointed out are a massive downside of this update and can especially affect the daily missions (These matchmaking system only works in a game that barely gives any in-game advantages) Cause let's be honest, the community is made up of skilled and non skilled, the gap between the two are massive that it won't even compare to your usual players for other games

Seriously, what do they have to offer in the modern gaming market? 

I cannot agree with this more. The developers somehow think they can make Tanki compete with current games? The way for Tanki to stay relevant is to be irrelevant - a unique and niche game.

This update is almost or equally as bad as the rubbish repair kit update the just brought out. No one had a problem with the way the repair kit worked before so why change it, the same applies to the way match making was. If they are trying to compensate for lack of players maybe they should make the game less play to win and more about skill...... rant over

How to bring tanki back from death.

 

1. Scrap Overdrives

2. Scrap Matchmaking system

3. Revert Repair kit healing to the original.

4. Fix bugs

5. Make it easier to kick violators

6. Make it easier to punish violators

7. Bigger punishments for violators

All but repair kit, there's more balance with battle for that, but give an opinion as i haven't been playing in low ranks (below brigadier)

waiting times should be zero, if there's a tradeoff where i accept waiting times for "X" benefit then wth is "X"?

 

i would love to play pro battle except the other update removed missions from pro and i have super missions to work on

aaah mission is another problem, It is gonna take too long because of supplies in random battles.

Actually I am little bored of tankionline, I just come online for my single daily mission, and matchmaking is cool system for that.

 

Waiting time isn't that long, finding a good battle in list actually takes more longer.

​Disadvantages:

  • The right equipment cannot be selected in advance - neither hull, turret or colour - since one does not know on which map one appears. Why then having different equipment regarding effectiveness. Changing during the battle takes too long then.

You can choose right equipment when they gave you 20 seconds for preparation :rolleyes:

then why not just scrap the update and keep the silly "Battle" button?

 

idk why you're content with having any waiting times??  I still don't see what benefit I get from the irritation of waiting on games I didn't have to wait on before

Not to mention the games usually end up sucking anyway, and they aren't as long...

Did you play a matchmaker match?

 

I just tried creating several maps, and they are all the same, including industrial zone, which is where I played most of my 8 or 9 matches tonight. When I made it, it was the old map. When I was stuffed into it from the matchmaker, it was different.

 

The main difference was how wide open it was. The small doorways were big enough for a mammoth with extra room. The tunnel-trench away from the flags was gone. The two ramp-highmounts were different. One had no walls nor building, and the other was bigger with bigger walls. There were missing buildings in one of the maps, and highways was almost the same, but different.

 

I assume other matchmaker maps are also altered. I cannot guess why, especially if player-created battles all have the old maps.

I don't know why Tanki wants to make their game worse everyday.

 

First you took away starladder.

Then you introduced freaking modules.

Brought Overdrives.

Removed Chat Violations.

Took away Crystal box(I know it interrupted the gameplay but it did after you brought 50 and 100 crystal boxes,Not when it was only 10)

 

What do you want??

 

Tanki had 90000 players online now hardly 10000 come online,You should understand that you are making it worse again and again!

remove it same lags in battles -_- before update I had 60FPS and now I have only 23 FPS , and I have GTX 1060 6GB
