I believe that tanki is going downhill. While I still love the game and am trying to rank up as fast as I can, I am seeing things that tanki is doing that make me want to stop. The overdrive gives power to noobs who couldn't earn enough crystals to buy supplies. This new update and the overdrive update are the worst that I've seen. I hope tanki doesn't keep both forever.

Blah, this update just really blows. i do not spend $100's of my dollars to sit and wait three minutes. let alone be put into a battle with ranks 10x  higher than mine just to be booted and have to wait .wait... please do not use this system..

Matchmaking should start battles with 8, then go up to 10 to compensate teams where players are abandoning the team, or to compensate the team with lower ranks.

How do you know? Have you tried convincing him? All I've seen so far is a quite childish display on both sides of name calling and very little actual attacking of the points presented.

This update needs a lot of tweaking

 

10 out of 10 times i was sent to a battle which was more than halfway done.

 

i joined team battles and as per what they said, team battles will start with all slots filled and replacement found as soon as possible. guess i was the replacement for a losing team 9.9 out of 10 times. and not once i joined an unstarted game

more often than not, i am spawn killed by freeze, fire, rail, magnum, mines, twins, thunder, etc. the only weapon that doesnt spawn kill me is my own weapon.

 

add a provision of 5 seconds of invulnerability after spawning to something. maybe mines. atleast gives a chance to player to either find where the enemies are or run for cover. no fun in dying 20+ times with the worst K/D ratio. i always aim for 5.0 and above. sadly achieving that is like finding penguins enjoying sahara desert.

 

many times i was paired with incompetent team. like under ranked, un moving guys.

 

matchmaking could focus on creating a database maybe where the players are judged on karma points. you stay the entire battle 1 point. you quit in between -1 point, you come in top or nearly top, 1 or 2 points. you have the worst K/D and score for the rank (read saboteurs, mults) -1 or -2 points, you have overdrive and dont use it, -2 or -1 points. you share or use overdrive, no points. you heal your team mates frequentlym 1 point. you dont, -1 point. good karmic players can be grouped and can atleast have a good sportmanship game. i hate it when my team is filled with people who dont use the over drive or dont understand giving way to flag getter or healing team mates.

 

the screen is fully covered with battle buttons. resizing would be nice. and mission completed notification is gone???

 

any game where the outcome is more or less predictable, like 7-0 for CTF, new players shouldnt be sent to that game. waste of time and spoils the mood. 

 

whilst waiting in queue, player coukd be given the choice of fixing few parameters like size of map or maps he want to play in. i am guessing if the en server becomes 1 giant server, there should be a good probability of players having similar if not same preference as him...

 

 

pardon my punctuation and grammar. i do hope my feedback strike some chords with others and maybe some of the issues are solved before the official release of the system.

Feedback time.

It works. AS INTENDED. It's not placing players into battles with a 5 rank spread like before. Of my 1st time clicking it, using quick match, it took 10 seconds to find a battle, a very cozy Iran TDM on my Master Corporal alt. The player spread in that match was 2 ranks. DOWN. I was top rank with the exception of one guy a rank above me half way through the match. 

 

This update I feel is trying to take TO in the right direction by drawing a line between good and fun play and rage quitting because of drugging M2+ cowards.

2. why we can not complete daily missions in pro battles, yes i know you can make battle by yourselfe and do fast the mission but u can solve it on other way u only do it so players buy drugs.

3. why the weekend giveaways onlin in non pro battles? because u will motivate us to buy drugs.

4. why never  the worth of gold box with a holiday or whatever is 2,3,4k?

5. what is the point of the noob overdrive and the noob repair? the overdrive sucks it is unbalanced?

I have never spent a cent on this game, everything I have I earned, and I like to be at the top of the rank bracket because then I can use my equipment to it's full potential. Does that make me a coward? No more than it makes a legend a coward for joining a battle where he is the highest rank.

still tried several games, but it is really bad. I join battles which I usually never would join. For example:a battle with almost all legends. No chance in such a game, so I leave and have to wait for next.

This isnt funny anyway.

I want to know which map I join, and who's playing there.

BTW: waiting time in Quick battle is rather ok.

 

This is what I mean with my post; I joined a Forest battle with legends only in the other team; in my team a also a few legends but also several dudes of my rank. Why join such an unbalanced battle; I would normally never do. Useless from my point of view.

 

But I have to say; access was very quick, a few seconds only :). So lost not that much time; but still meaningless

This is my first post but I just needed to express my disappointment! 

I do not like new update. Sometimes you are waiting like crazy spending premium time and then throws you in battle with much higher ranks that you currently are! The stupidest thing it can happen to you is that it may join you in a battle just like 2 minutes from its ending. After that you must choose new match not just continue it. The only thing I like are new bigger maps.

1. i am a completely free player too and i don't mind getting outmatched; i don't ever even drug, like ever... i just think it's fun how arrogant people like him(i know him, trust me) think it's okay when they do it to others but can't accept it when it happens to them.

 

2. This is directed at him personally, because i know him and i know tjhis is what he does

 

 

P.S. you remember me mister o no another druger? you told me i was too obessed with the game and while it doesn't really bother you after i [...] your druging arse without drugs. you said you didn't really care about the game despite spending so much because the money doesn't bother you... looks like it does after all, huh?

I like to join losing teams, if the point margin is not too big, and try to help them win - if possible, sometimes I am no help at all! One-sided games are not fun, regardless of which side I am on. Tanki should simply give more crystals to difference-makers, as an incentive for joining losing teams. Unfortunately, that would lead to clans trolling games and massively drugging to turn the tide of games. But if the incentive were small enough to not attract large numbers of tankers, it could work.

This is exactly my point. I want to stay in free mode, so far I was able to reach generalissimo but you have to make some choices :huh: . So it makes sense to have a good battle and mission choice too. And with limited but carefully chosen equipment I dont want to be depending on system choices.
