Testing of Matchmaking System on EU servers

im making battles but no one is joining because they are all on matchmaking?

Lol battle actually ends after 15 minutes, so if I am in a good team and in a map I like, I can only enjoy during 1 battle...

That's one of the worst things i've seen in this system, i've spent an hour then i got a polygon CP battle, only to play for 10 min, then i couldn't get it ever again, and the battle was not that fun either, the enemy team had a lot of low ranks (down to captain) so basically it was a slaughterhouse.   -_-

A little dumb question.

 

Are all "EU*" servers  start with "EU"?

 

The question is when I log in from the US, I am always directed to the "EU*" servers.  Then that are the "US" servers?

Hi, Think server is related to location where you created the account.

I asked a similar question about a challenge where i saw 2 players having the same username...

the answer was related to 'locale' EU/US...

so, your username will always log into EU servers starting by EU (Formly, EN/RU...)

CONS:

- cannot choose maps i like to play (i like to choose certain gear for different maps before battle)

- unbalanced teams ( I mean it i am Third Lieutenant and today I was playing against team full of sergeants. I even saw gefreiter! I must say it         was fun but ONLY FOR ME NOT FOR THEM - total disaster! )  

- after match you are send directly back to queue and cannot play the same match again!

- long queuing time!!!
- how to play with friends?

- cannot see missions during game (or garage) Missions are harder to finish due to unbalanced teams.

- on witch server am I even playing?  <_<

- lagggggggggggg

 

PROS: 0  <_< (some maps may be better)

 

  LOOK I totally believe this matchmaking system is some kind of programming masterpiece but please stop updating good game. Why are you         fixing something what does not need to be fixed?! I prefer the game when crystals were still falling from sky in nice blue boxes.  :D (ok i like           new turrents)

I tried the new version today, I really don't like it!! I found no way of choosing a battle scenario I like to play. Instead the server directed me to a random battle which I don't want to play. Choosing another EU after another one... there are only stared battles. Please Tanki Team! Make the test way shorter as 48 hours, more likely 8-12 hours perhaps. As you guys said at the news letter *Matchmaking Test*: Developers might decide to end the test earlier if it causes any kind of undesirable effect on the game.

 

It causes undesirable effects to my mood :huh:

I am agreed with you 100% it's a nightmare! there's no more fun anymore, please just put it back the way it was before period more fun to play but this test server no fun at all the waiting it terrible no choice of games to play  good luck everyone will be leaving soon enough. I don't even like to play anymore...

Long wait to get into a random battle type against other players who are way better than me. I prefer to choose the maps I like which is not possible if I have to complete a mission.

 

Also the system seems more laggy, ping up from about 8 to 20 with the new update.

 

And, more Russian 'speakers' so really hard to get to know other players. Seems the Russian players are way better and use supplies a lot more than I care too. Needs balancing IMHO. I prefered the old servers split

- Makes battles unfair (if high rank, will be easy, if lower rank... too hard to win XP/Stats...)

- The DailyMission Button is available only out of the game (how to see mission progress when playing?)

- Time to find the "good" battle: (while the average waiting time is low, the real waiting time is long -> may be add estimated wait time based on ERLANG... B)

- I could chose maps depending on my favorite turret and hull -> creating a battle does not allow doing daily missions if i'm not wrong) so my favorite tank will not be suitable for every battle... On the other hand we could see ranks and score before entering a game, so we could evalute risks and chances (joining first dislike)

- We have no more the game URL, how to refresh the browser to get back to the same game if lag or technical problem

Yes!! Indeed the waiting itself is the worst annoying thing before you can play the game and terrible they took the fun out of the game big mistake everyone are gonna leave this game no more fun!!!

Imagine going to a mall or food court because you're hungry and suddenly you no longer get to choose what food you eat or where you get to sit.

 

Would you keep going to that place to eat or go find somewhere else where you get to choose?

someone said i dont think the devs are actually reading these comments or specially not the English ones (being as its a Russian game) it doesnt matter whats said in this forum tomorrow well have an updated message saying it was a success and how everyone loved the MM system just the way it is... so i dont see no point in putting anymore effort into this :(
