Please please please stop this update... I like tanki the way it was before.... I recently purchased a premium account and I feel as though I have wasted my money.

 

1) battles  take forever to start.... Not being able to choose your battles is the worst!

 

2) 10 mintues is beyond short,if anything we should make games 20 minutes.

 

3) I get placed with much higher ranks even legends half the time and I end up getting destroyed which is unfair to me and the team we are playing for.

 

4) I hate the setup and I am not spending another dime on tanki until this update is done away with because I hate it!

 

I'm sorry for using all caps but I m frustrated with this and will likely stop playing tanki altogether if it becomes permanent.

 

All of my friends who recently started playing tanki also hate it so please and thankyou.

I have not had a good experience with the matchmaking feature. Wait times are long and inappropriate. One can no longer enter battles with friends, look at a list of battles and choose which ones one desires to enter, which in my opinion only limits choices. Limiting choices and removing some of the social aspects of TO is not a good move. A better idea would be to have the older options for battles side by side with the matchmaking options and let the player decide which technique he/she chooses.

It is unlikely that this feature forced upon players will improve TO users or their experience.

Thanks for listening to someone who loves TO and only wants a good quality game with as many options for play as possible! :)

The battles i tested were ok in terms of balance, however i see some examples here of realy messed up ones

I just love the free pro battles but were is the option to name the battles :(

When in the battle list, if u change server, it gets back to the match making screen wich is not user-friendly. Could u make it so that it doesnt leave the battle list when u change servers?

The mission bottom realy should be back to what it was.

 

Hint: Maybe u should present the battle list first and change the battle bottom to go to the match making menu. For some reason there are some players that dont get that the battle list still exists :rolleyes:

I really didn't like the matchmaking system, it feels... Enclosed. I do enjoy the group match entry, but I believe that would be better as the secondary screen, as opposed to the first. Unrelated to my unliking, the matchmaking system was very buggy, as shown in the link below (Screenshot from match).

You don't get to see your team before you join...

The MM system seems to put more advanced players on one team so the battles are one-sided

The maps have been altered for the MM system so now you only get credit for daily missions you complete thru the MM system

 

Worst update I have seen on Tanki.

I have a Legend account where I am ready to rank to Level 7. This Commander account is close to ranking to Generalissimo. I have been more of a buyer on this Commander account, but have bought randomly on the other. I have several M4's on both accounts and have played for years. My Commander has at least 5 m4 turrets and 2 m4 hulls and many protection and paints. Legend 6 has even more.

 

I have gone through many updates and had enjoyable times on the game. I have not liked the weakening of some turrets as an update, while seeing things like the Magnum just obliterating everything in its path. It's too over powered. So is the missile launcher.

 

I like the star button where you get to share power with team players. The gold drop weekend was fun.

 

This blending of Servers is very bad though. Why?

 

1. You cannot see any running progress of your mission. You are forced to play the entire game and hope you achieved it, otherwise, back in the waiting line.

2. You cannot choose your own maps. Some maps I hate. Others I do well. Just a matter of preference. If I pay, I should get to choose.

3. You cannot play with friends. I cannot see any other tanker names in a list and there may be some tankers I would rather not play with. So I cannot play with my friends in our favorite games.

4. The waiting is ridiculous. And, when you get into a game, its part over. So if you have a mission of being in 1st place, forget it! It could take you a long time for that.

5. There is a lag in this test. I came up against one tank and we started shooting at each other and we both disappeared off the screen! I had to spawn again.

6. This is being introduced during the time when completing a weeks worth of missions gives you 3 times the amount of supplies. It will be a risk to make it through this week.

7. There is no benefit to the players on this. Maybe there is a benefit to Tanki with server use and maintenance, I don't know. But the game is made for the players. This is the worst update I have seen and I don't usually comment.

 

I believe that after I rank to Legend 7 and Generalissimo on my 2 accounts I will be saying good bye to Tanki.

 

To Tanki Developers: Give back what you took away from us in terms of power on the turrets. It is an unfair advantage having to play against magnums and missile launchers. The protection against them is too expensive.

Keep the gold drops at 3 to 5x and you'll tend to keep players. That is the most fun in each game. Your offering of 30,000 crystals and 30 of each supply for $1 was fantastic. You should keep that going. Maybe offer it once per month. So what that we bought it once? Do you want our money or not? Let us keep buying it. For those who drop golds, you should have a place in achievements for how many we've dropped. Reward those who drop with something. Offer some other rewards besides. Like maybe one free upgrade to a turret, hull, protection or paint.

 

Why am I saying this? Because I see things being taken away rather than incentives being given to play. What are you thinking here?? One commenter said it right when he said that Tanki Developers want us to spend more time with our families. I think that's about where I am right now. This is awful guys. Make changes for the better that will make people want to play. Do you know how to create incentives? You sure know how to discourage!

 

To me, this test should have been done on a test server with a select group of good players who could offer you sound advice. To push it on all the Tanki community is just unacceptable. If this type of format stays, I am going to leave it for good!

Waited a couple of minutes and got dropped in to a long range game (which i don't want to be in). Makes things worse when other team is M3/4 and powering full time. Left game. Back in the queue.... another 2+ min wait ... to drop into same game,... dropped out, queued again, and was put in same game for 3rd time. Dropped out, penned this and left TO. TO, u owe me 10 minutes of my life wasted cause you thought your AI could find a game i wanted better than me. it couldn't find a game to suit my hull, my turret, my play style or my rank. It couldn't find its own nose i suspect. End the test early please

i agree that they are now. but people major or higher should have nothing to complain about, there already were battles for them with legends before matchmaking. the brackets should remain the same as they were before matchmaking.

 

EDIT: they should be thankful that they have the chance to play with recuits now, if all they want is to play with weaker people and never against the strong

avoid marshal and up? seems like something kids or pussies would do. what i said above was actually replying to fluffy's reply to another post i made earlier where i said legends shouldn't have to fight recruits... i'm just saying that if you're too afraid to fight those stronger then you must love fighting the weak. not that i think it should happen im just saying they shold enjoy that they can do so right now

 

i remember fighting clan wars against druging m4 marshals at 2nd lieutenant...

 

 

this is me fighting a battle outnumbered and outmatched, against druging legends while never druging(you can check my profile) on 8 fps without sound. how do i do it? i started practising fighting them with m1s so now i can manage with m2s

This is terrible. I can't choose what map, teams are unfair, and it takes over a minute to get in a battle. I shouldn't have to fight a legend and a recruit shouldn't have to fight me. END THIS NOW TANKI!

This update sucks please get rid of it. I miss the old tanki. I miss being able to join any battle I want instantly and not having to wait like I'm being put on hold for scheduling a doctors appointment. I hate being thrown In  with super high ranks that beat the crap out of me... I hate the match maker system please change it.

I don't want to be hater, but matchmaking is Terrible!. I was playing with a m3 tank, that was literally a legend, and a recruit. I don't see how that's fare for me, or for that recruit. I also think we are very limited in choice, unless we have a pro battle pass, so we can't choose the map, and i don't get to be on the same teams as my friends -_-. And when i go to load a battle it takes like 3 minutes, but alot of the time it doesn't even load, so i have to reload the page. I'm definitely not liking this new system, tanki get rid of it!  -_-

I am not satisfied with the new matchmaking system, and i am not supporting it to make the new matchmaking system permanent. there are 2 reasons:

 

1. The long loading time of battles. The average time of loading is said to be 31 secs, but it turns out to be 5 mins. WTH!

2. Difficulty of having a group battle. It will be really hard for those who has only a few friends, or they are from Europe (cuz most of his friends are from Europe or US)
