they already accepted his stupidest idea ever! to let legends fight recruits in matchmaking so those legends could complete their 9999 missions more easily.

Guido, this is not the case, some of the aspect of the tested MM looked like it, but it is not the case, nobody wants M0 fighting M4. People joked about it, because it was a fun idea, but not fun that it actually happened. It happened because people put on purpose M0 in their group. It didn't happened when no group involved (exepte when people intentionally mult).

Three systemic problems

 

1-Missions are out of alignment with MatchMaking. Recommendation: remove all mission types, leave only collect crystals in X format mission. This last type will help ensure players play to the end of battles. All other types lead to compromised game play and frustrated players. Trust me you don't want frustrated players. Mad players become non players. We are here for enjoyment, remember. We will PAY more when we enjoy the game.

 

2-Wait Delay - related to rank bracket problem. Root cause is low player counts on servers. Recommendation: begin your advertising and other player growth campaigns to bring players into the game and keep existing players happy.

 

3-Map choice- Yes I am going to talk about World of Tanks. What Tanki seems to have forgotten is that Map and equipment are very much related. This is NOT the case in WoT, where you stand more or less the same chance whichever map you are on , and equipment isn't that highly varied. Recommendation: enhance Mapmaking to provide options for selecting - short, medium, and long range maps.

but... nobody wanted this, you mean except for riddler? i'm not joking he has seriously created a topic suggesting legends should be able to fight recruits because 9999 missions are too hard for him to complete.

Wow, so many complainers!  Not knowing how long you'll sit in queue can make it harder to wait in them but that's a minor adjustment for the player.  Those 'forever' queue-waits give you a chance to BREATH before the next match and that's not entirely bad.  Two-minute waits ain't fun but most of mine were around 30 seconds plus.  I've seen other online games that take minutes to assemble matches. 

Were those 'Play!' games all only 10 minutes long?  More people should have experimented with the 'Build' button, maybe.

Trolling a troll, might fit the definition of trolling, but using the word you used defeat your credibility of what you consider trolling.

chuckle, I don't think so, cause I haven't aimed it at any person.  Only used  an adjective which is completely accurate as to what happened.... but this is now semantics... I won't add any more after this.. its a pointless argument. You'll have to agree to disagree.

 They  said in past vlogs that we will be able to complete all missions in pro battles and no pro battles .... and as i could see in MM test We werent able to do, I just want from Developers to able this request.

1- We would like to find battles faster, we dont have all time of this world, to wait for 1 battle.... I was waiting for like 3-5 mins to play Warrent Officers and Liutenants... Its littlebit unfair for them..There need to exzist rank limits.. I think its the best deal to give us from Captain and higher. 

2- Why you guys made battles shorter? It was great time with 15 mins, 10 mins is short time.

3- It would be cool that we can choice what time battles we wanna play, like 15mins 30 mins 45 mins 1hour (like it was in past)

4- Pls return Mission button where it was.

5- Pls end with Pro-battles and UNpro-battles, if you want to add this MMS.

6-Dont change maps, atleast give us to choice which to change, u can choice but whats deal if players wont like it... We like these which are now in game.

7-Give us littlebit more places for Group play , if u want to add, that would be cool.

8- Fix some bugs, like I was in battle , TDM Polygon, and i went to garage i changed from viking to titan and after i wasnt able to give enemys dmg and i had to re enter...

This is, I think so atleast, all tips which would make game great again

 

Contact DEVELOPERS and tall me what u think about all this.......

do u know what would be coolest thing in this game? VOICE-CHAT, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THAT IN GAME MORE THAN ANYTHING ! it would be cool to dev add this. It would cost money... but it will be coolest thing.

So because practically everyone here hates the match making system, you accuse them of ignorance. That is a great way to treat customers. You might want to consider that the tanki dev responsible is an eejit and it is in fact people trying to defend the indefensible who are the ignorant ones. Have you been going to classes to learn how to annoy and alienate people?...because you seem to be exceptionally good at it.

Hating on updates without knowing what they are or seeing/reading official announcement topics is nothing but ignorance.

They keep thinking that there will be lag after this update, there will be annoying errors and timing delays in Matchmaking System. No one cared to notice when Semyon said - I'm literally saying this for the 10th time now - this implementation was only a TEST to see how the real servers would handle the load of the MM under real player load. All timings, rank brackets and other values are still to be decided.

I CANT LOG IN . ITS SAYS SERVER UPDATE NOW . BUT MY FRNDZ ARE PLAYING I TRYED TO RELOAD BUT SAME SERVER UPDATE http://prntscr.com/g6srhh

No one can log in during a server update.

 

I want matchmaking back again please! doing missions have become such a pain in the arse again now, i need to cap 3 flags but the only CTF battles i see are ones where the team i can join is the one that is losing; because everyone on the losing side leaves and no one wants to join those sides so when i join i get outnumbered almost 2 to 1 in my own base. we really need matchmaking back again asap, this unfairness cannot last any longer.

This is one of those points many, many people failed to notice.

He asked for feedback on the matchmaking system, we are giving him the feedback. Do you know why the rank brackets and other values are still to be decided? HE WANTS FEEDBACK

Some sugestions

  • This should be the rank Bracket for legends > 4TmQbOguQweVEZD8gRpkfQ.png
  • Funds should be distributed fairly among players
  • We should be able to see Mission Progress in battle(s)
  • Battle duration should be 15 minutes

 

I used to agree, but then I had a discussion with a Gizmo a few pages back and now I think legends should be isolated for the most part

Disagree. 15 minutes is too long IMO. I prefer 10.

 

This system is so broken, peoples K/D gets ruined because of this update, supplies wasted to try and compete with legend drugger... Its just pointless.

And the worst part is we cant play normal battles.

A. test, nto update, so invalid. B. My KDR pre OD was .83, then it went to .89, now its .90.

 

If they listened to the players for everything Tanki would go bankrupt pretty quick.  :P

Yeah, can I have some crystals? Like, 200K so I can MU all my M1s to M2? B)

Can ANYONE tell us WHY the devs feel this is a necessary change that is needed?  WTF are you guys doing this for?  Why?  Who does it help?  Does it dump more money into your pockets?  Does it improve the game?  Does it draw more players?  Was/is there something broke in the existing system?  Was the paying players complaining about something?  Was it the non-paying players requesting these changes?   Are you guys working your hardest to drive people to your product or from it?  

 

 

 

 

 

If you could just explain what you are doing and why, you might get a "few" players to support your efforts.

feedback - its crap and makes the clan system obsolete, cause i can play with 5 friends only. 

what if they increase battle group size to 10? i know there are 12 members in a clan but clan tournaments only have 10 per team

Anyone i heard don't like it , i not hear 1 single voice saying they liked it . The reasons are multiple , but the fact is , YOU ARE GONNA LOSE A LOT OF PLAYERS WHEN IT BECOMES PERMANENT .

You must hear the complaints everywhere , so please listen to it , it is a unneaded change , brings nothing but trouble for us "the players" and for you "developers" since it will make you lose your job ( no players no income ) .

I like to choose my map , since i do not like all map , and i like the smaller and bigger maps , depending what i like and who i see play ( yes not all players i know are in friends list ) . Sometimes i want to play same map again , with same players as rematch or whatever reason .

The problem with your point  #1 is that when I have to have crystals, I look to join the ALREADY WINNING TEAM -- especially when the payout to even good players on the losing team is abysmal.  This despite that my preference, for fun, is to join a losing team and turn it around.  If I need exp, then I usually join the losing team.  So making missions all and only crystal based could have the opposite effect of making battles more even, by incentivizing only playing on the winning side.

Yeap, it was a survey which made TO confident about carrying on with it. Watch the v-log and live stream that you missed about it.

I saw the survey, and I responded to it with a few of my accounts -- but it was a very poorly done survey and with the choices afforded I couldn't really say what I thought about it.  So did I like it?  Yes, it was fun.  Did I think it should become a permanent part of the game?  No, absolutely not.

 

But the survey didn't give any leeway.   I didn't want to say I hated it, but it never asked "do you think this should be made a permanent part of the game?"   It basically have "really like, somewhat like, didn't like, hated it" sort of options.

 

So if everyone (like me) thought it was kind of fun as a special limited thing, you may have gotten the wrong impression.  I certainly know it didn't give me the opportunity to be clear about what I really thought -- so you probably included a few of my accounts saying "liked" or "somewhat liked" and interpreted it as something I did not mean.   I DO think OD is fun, but a little problematic as a permanent feature because it so distorts the game.

Even better solution: make the crystal fund ratio less... 100/1. Even losing by 1 flag halves the amount of crystals you get, this is ridiculous in a game where every crystal and xp point matters. But the game is too far gone, they chose to go the P2W route.

I miss the test, now i have to look for good battles from server to server. :(

The SMART way to do this (for the players convenience and ease, if that's what they want) is to LIST the battles by type, instead of by server.  Instead of the option to choose between one of 200 servers (Kidding!) searching for a battle, they should have FOUR "Battle list" options, one for each type of battle, that shows, for instance, ALL CTF battles suitable for your rank.   

 

Then you would only have to go to one place to see all the battles you want that are available to you.  

It would also be nice if they had them broken out by language preference, so you could choose to play with people you can talk to, if you want.

 

I can only suppose that there is some technical reason why they still have them all broken out by server.

Why does a system decide a map I want to play on??

Because of this system even if I create a battle on my choice of map no on ever joins it.... Putting missions button away from main-screen means I cant see what my missions were during play, always on noob teams and doing missions now is 100x difficult because map duration is less and only druggers rules the game.... Unfair noob teams and waiting time is high as hell!!! Remove this noob update asap
