I have no words...

Me neither. There is a lot of word's definition that needs amendment .

It was stress test for the reporters too. If we survive this then we can survive anything now. :D

What is wrong with you? You want to force players to stay in a battle they joined to complete their mission? What if it's a very unbalanced battle and there are no benefits for the player? Why should he stay?

Removing the button is not the best solution. If I need to collect 10 Nitro and I end up in a lame battle, I will just count how many Nitros I took and I will leave at 10. On the other hand, if the battle is good, I will stay until the end to grab my reward.

This is as simple as that. And if a player wants to leave a good battle after completing his mission, it's his problem, he will lower his ratings.

As far as I know, we are free to join and leave whenever we want. Why do you want to force players to stay in a battle until it ends?

Its just another way to blame players for their own poor game design.

I think they do it to avoid the fact of players leaving in the middle of the match, because if so, the system would have to look for another player and Would you like to join into a battle whose time is already halved?

Anyway, you have the reason because players can count what they need. I don't talk about Boxes Missions specifically because those ones will most likely be removed soon.

In many cases after completing 1 daily mission a player would leave the battle. Devs know this, yet they don't decide to change something to actually make the battles enjoyable for these kind of people. Instead, they don't let them know when they have completed the desired daily mission. Terrible way of solving the issue. I'm not the case so I may be wrong, but I think that when players will be offered a good gameplay then they will stay, play and have fun. Your solution to the problem doesn't really improve anything.

Sadly, this seems to be Tanki's approach to problem solving. Remove some ability from the game and in doing so SORT OF prevent the problem. Pay absolutely no attention to the underlying systemic causes of the undesired player behavior.

Meanwhile players simply find new ways to exploit the system. No one asks why.

Can't you hear Hazel-Rah - "We do not like this"

Guys guys - please listen to me on this. In a few weeks mission chain rewards revert to their normal pittance payouts. STOP playing regular/MM/mission battles! There is no reason to do so any longer. Go to PRO battles or Battle List since they will no longer require a pass. Play however you like! Forget missions ever existed! You will be happy - trust me.

Boxes mission encourage mult. Before you could simply create a Stadium Dm and collect all the boxes you want, there was no problem. Now, lot of players will just be mults and join to collect boxes.

Good thing if they remove it.

But for kills and exp, it will still be possible to count with the tab.

My goal is to enjoy the game. I don't want somebody to force me to stay in a lame battle just because "han han players leaving in da middle of da battle, han han it is no gud, we remove mission button." I don't really like devs attitude for this particular point.

Why the complaints? It's the idea itself. Removing the button to force players to stay in the battle. That is not the right move.

Make the battles more enjoyable and players will not leave them. They take the problem the wrong way, and this is not the first time it happens...

i could do this except there goes my Cry income. But mostly whenever I look at the custom section I see:

XP/BP don't have Railgun

CP Poly and CTF Noize. Please.

Parkour don't do Parkour

1:1 battles  Zzzzzz

< 5% are team games with more than 2-3 players on a side and those scattered across servers. It's tedious and quite often to no avail.

You should compare what is comparable, ps4 owner got more than 8000 employees! That more than 200 time more than alternativa, you're naive or ill-informed to make a comparison like this.

Great customer relations Helmet boy. Tanki used to have a great customer base until they kept putting in one bad update after another. Your attitude and that of the Dev's is exactly why people are leaving the game. Sure Tanki doesn't have the resources of Sony, but that shouldn't be an excuse to put out crap updates and allow people like you to basically call one of their customers stupid. Yes you have perfectly illustrated why tanki is dying.

m8, crimson tank said that some staff should be better mentally prepared to handle negative feedback, and then you told him that tanki staff dont get paid. I point this out, and you go on a rant about staff not being forced to like updates???

I apologize for misunderstanding the statement, the guy's English is pretty poor too - no offense. But all in all, you could've just pointed this out being being offensive earlier.

Call of duty match making system is better than the tanki match making system. This is why PS4 is better than tanki online hands down.

Practically all games with matchmakers are better than TOs matchmaking system. Ignoring the fact that it was only in a test phase so far, TO just wasn't built around matchmaker to begin with. Players fight each other based on rank, equipment doesn't matter. I don't know of any other games that do that. Of course, professionally developed console game is better than 8 year old Flash demo. Poor comparison.

I have joined the forum. And I mean the game is boring. Gameplay is too repetitive, and you can't use all weapons because of how expensive things are. It's just boring. Plus hardly any players online anyway. The forum is the only good thing about this game.

TO can be fun, even with repetitive gameplay. I like it because of the unique maps and physics engine. What other game has parkour like TO? But you are right, the equipment a player uses largely depends on whether they are a buyer or not or whether it was nerfed recently.

Agreed. There is absolutely no reason to stay in a battle that you know you are going to lose. You will harm your K/D, be frustrated, and in the end be rewarded with a trivial amount of crystals. Less players would leave if they knew that they would get rewarded for their contributions to the team.

That's a good question. In my point of view, forcing people to do something never works out in the long run.

In your example, you'll stay if the battle you're in is good, but many players will even leave decent battles as soon as they finish their missions. They either do not have time to spend on playing and just want to keep that chain going, or they want to move to PRO battles asap. However, just preventing players from seeing their mission progress won't keep those players in battles till the end. They will just keep track of it themselves and leave. Or they might just drop their missions altogether if the cost starts to outweigh the benefits.

If the matchmaking system results in balanced battles like intended, the players that enjoy the 'non-PRO' battles will stay till the end regardless of their missions, but the ones that just don't want or have the time to spend their time in the match making battles will not.

It's up to the devs to find a solution to the problem that works long term, I've passed on your (and others') concerns about this to the devs.

Cool nickname dib. I,ll make a new account with helmet-boy.

We all agree on that it is not an excuse, but still small resources mean that you have to make choices, hard one and accept you can't solve everything and develop things right from the first time, enhance need to do stress testing.

Trust me this will change in September and when Matchmaking returns. MANY will not want to play MM/Standard battles anymore. I'm one of them.

Well, that's a fair point. Maybe it will change for the better.

The thing is I think we all would rather have a battle search function that worked across servers than a MM system.

Look for: CTF/CP NoSupply NoPickps NoGB

If there was something like that then the custom section wold be very popular. Then it'd be useful again. I do miss Dusseldorf.

I'm pretty sure the VLog mentioned that they are looking at removing the server selection from the PRO/battle list also - that gets us at least halfway since we'll be able to see any battle our rank is eligible to join.

They should've used common sense. In PRO battles if you can do the missions then players go there and in normal battles players won't leave because their mission is done in PRO. I don't know what the developers were thinking, but if they keep doing the opposite of what the players want it's only gonna be a lose for them.

Pretty sure it was even the Mod Cooper who earlier posted that forcing people to do something rarely turns out well. Sorry if I butchered that.
