Ideas for Paints!

Special paint system

Hello,

Straight to the point:

If you have 5 paints that are only available from containers, you can trade them in. With the rarity "Epic"

Example:
If you have "Zigzag" "Soduku" "Ripple" "Pulsar" "Potter (5 Container paints)
You can trade them in, for a "Legendary". For example: Flow, Vertigo, Ginga, Matrix. (*5 Epic's for 1 random

Legendary*)

I thought this idea is necessary because paints are just nothing more than a paint, it's something what a player would like. It doesn't give protection anymore like a few years ago. So I think this can make many players happy, and this won't hurt the economy. (Btw, this idea will only give the opportunity to upgrade from 5 Epics to 1 legend. And not extend till Exotic, so only Epic 5x -> 1x Legendary)

Extra idea's, additions are welcome. *Share your thoughts below*

Developers know that most of the paints you get from containers will never be used since they're not special enough or it simply isn't something you wanted. So by gaining the ability to exchange useless items for preferred items, players will end up spending less money to get the items they want. Why buy a shop kit or 100 more containers for a chance to get a legendary paint when you can just exchange a bunch of useless paints for it? So it's bad for the economy.

Mmmmh, ok.

So you're actually saying:

The developers want players to spend so much till they get their favorite paint?

A paint is useless and just an addition to the game. I think it won't damage the game but only make people happy.
(Players still have to do some work for their reward, it's just an other way for getting a paint that they want, not everyone is lucky while opening crates)

I don't agree

Pretty much. Paints are cosmetic items, so it makes sense to make them hard to obtain. The more crystals players spend on cosmetic items, the less "pay-to-win" elements will have to be added to generate extra revenue.

What if there's an option add your name on the side of your hull, as a sticker or logo..Something like that. The colors of your name would be of course based on the paint or based on personal preference. It should cost at least 200k crystals..Because who wouldn't want their name on the side of their tank?

Make Lava Look Cooler

The garage portrait of lava looks really epic, however the actually lava looks really stupid. Please make lava look like how it is portrayed in the garage.

This idea is pretty simple, although it may sound very confusing. I think many of you will enjoy this idea. So, I was thinking why should we use garage paints if animated paints look cooler? I think that we can have animated forms of garage paints as an added on "alteration" for the paint.

Animated paints right now could take one of the following forms:

1. Swirls (Example Flow) (This would look good on Spark or Inferno)

2. Background Color starts off ---> Adds on details of the paint afterwards (Example Ginger) (This would look good on zeus, where it starts off as a regular blue background and then lightning bolts appear and disappear and then repeat)

3. Blurred Lines (Example Secret Sauce, the failure War paint) (This would look good on Inferno, Spark, Camo Paints)

4. Shiny/Glowing (Example Nightmare) (This would look good on Emerald, Spark, Inferno, Electra, Zeus, Cherry)

5. Animated Patterns, where the color for each repeated design would alternate colors (This would look good on the basic camo paints or something complicated like Hive or Nano or Atom or Prodigi or Irbis)

This may sound a little confusing right now, so if any of you guys have questions for how these designs would look, you can write them to me down below.

Remember, this is not creating a separate new paint for each of these paints (it's NOT Prodigi 2.0 type stuff). It's literally an alteration for an animated form.

Of course, many of these alterations cannot be suitable for all of the paints, so each paint will only have what makes sense to animate for them. Many of them will not have an alteration. Only 1 or 2 may have all 5.

Each animation should cost an extra 100 000 crystals. There can also be a 5 000 Crystrals 1-day rental to see if you like it. Or, if this seems too generous, they can make this purchasable shop or container only.

But do you realise that making a paint animated means manually editing the original paint to make it animated frame-by-frame? Just because a paint already exists in still form doesn't mean that it's really easy to make it animated.

It's not like a hard thing to do for tanki artists. Also, this idea is really good and would make paints a bit more worthy to buy for having good looks, because paints are pretty worthless right now....

So you're saying that this definitely won't happen because the devs are too lazy and incompetent to make this type of update. You're right.

If the Zeus paint ever gets animated, like lightning occurring on the dark blue background, I'll probably buy that. Same goes for Electra, just lightning appearing and disappearing like how it does naturally. Other paints may look good, like Nano's design with white outlines moving accross it, Disco or Hallucination moving and beating, Pixel's design pixelating in and out, Atom's particles moving around and etc. So much potential, but yeah, Maf's right, these paints require a lot of work to make.
