Something's telling me that the rights to use all of these artists' names for tank paints will cost a million times more than the revenue devs could ever hope to get from the sales

Yes, but you want these paints for the whole game, so I think it should be global.

They didn't use any trademark names. "Red Suit" and "Chimichanga" are not trademark, and neither are "Thankos", "Crusher", "Tarantula" or "Cap". In case of these paints they changed them to avoid legal issues, but I doubt it's worth doing the same for music-themed paints, not to mention that inc case of album/song names and artists' names, changing them will just make it confusing.

Yeah, that's right.  New idea: Change the names so they all start with B.

An animated paint that reacts with the turret's shot:

 

Animated paints are all over tank nowadays, with all different kinds, colors, and movements.

But they seem a bit boring they move randomly, why not connect their movement with the turret that is equipped and that will bring a new concept to the game.

Let's say that the tanker has railgun and hornet, during the base load for the shooting the paint's colors should be consumed or dragged towards the tip of the turret.

anyways please review this humble Idea, I can't draw it let's hope I explained it well.

Sounds cool, but I somehow doubt it would be even remotely possible to implement without spending many months on development.

I don't know that I want everyone to know whether I need to reload before attacking them. Maybe this can just be when you score-or capture a point it can change colors. What else would I want everyone to see?

Also-this would really create lag so I feel its not worth it.

Smart Paints:

 

This will be the evolution of tanki online's paint!

A paint that is not only animated but also smart! smart?! :blink: :blink: :blink: huh?

yea smart, a paint that reacts to the turrets Load/shots....

Let's say that you are using railgun, While base loading for the shot the paint's colors will act like they are  getting drained towards the turret's tip to finally shoot, (like the paint is the energy)

Most players hide while reloading, so no one will see it anyway, except you and maybe your teammates if they happen to go behind the same building your hiding behind. Besides, reloading only takes a few seconds and in some cases, hardly noticeable.

Hello, The paint won't show that you are out of laod, it itt only reacting while base loading (when railgun starts consuming energy) that's all it won't refill itself once you're done the paint will not show that you are loading...

What if you don't change the names and do a play-on-words thing like you did with <Thankos> <Cap> <Tarantula> and <Crusher>? For example, let's say the Taylor Swift Paint. You could rename it to <Agility> because 'Swift' and 'Agility' mean basically the same thing. Or let's say the 5SoS (5 Seconds of Summer) Paint. You could rename it to <10 Seconds of Gameplay> (Okay, I don't know about that one) so it'd be similar but not copyrighted. Then for the Green Day Paint you could name it <Earth Day>. See what I mean? Of course, the paints will look like the pop artist and that, but the name would be slightly changed so the copyright issues won't be in effect.

People will be tempted to buy paints that rep their favorite singers or celebrities.

 

For example:

 

1. Kanye West Paint - $10 (for tankers who like rap)

 

2. Taylor Swift Paint - $10 (for heartbroken country tankers)

 

3. Kelly Clarkson Paint - $10 (for people who watch American Idol or just like her music)

 

4. My Chemical Romance Paint - $10 (for emos)

 

5. Lil Pump Paint - $10 (i dont know what type of people listen to this stuff but whatever, its for revenue only)

 

6. 5SOS Paint - $10 (for teenage girls)

 

7. One Direction Paint - $10 (for teenage girls)

 

8. Justin Bieber Paint - $10 (for teenage girls)

 

9. Green Day Paint - $10 (for punks)

 

10. Nirvana Paint - $10 (for grunge people and people who see those smiley faces everywhere but don't know where it's from)

 

11. Russian Army Choir Paint - $10 (cause u know its a russian game and for the memez)

In the early days of Tanki, for a short while we were able to customize the paint on our tanks, but it would be visible to only the owner, not the other players. Not long ago, I read we can still do that with third party paints. But, here again, will not be seen by other players.
