When Team Starts Losing in CP, Points Stop Being Deducted

Recommended Posts

I notice that when a battle is quite tight, a winning team loses points until they are equal with the other team. But they continue to lose points even when they are losing. This shouldn't be considered fair, when a team starts losing they continue to be deducted points?

Example:

R-B

6-3

5-4

4-5

3-6

2-7

1-8

The system already works almost exactly like that. The only difference is that the points continue to deduct for some time until a certain threshold, and then stop. So let's say the score was 20/40 (Red/Blue) and red team starts catching up. Score gets to 30/30, then 35/25, then 40/20, but then blue team stays at 20 and red's score keeps going up. This system has been carefully adjusted to create the most optimal balance, so it won't be changed.

Then what about the planned 'Improved CP mode' they have in Development Plans?

Don't know anything about that, but I think it's gonna be different.
