Here's mine:

 

A tribute to a personal experience.

 

 

When I was little, my father wasn't in the picture, my mother worked endlessly at a local pizza hut, so my grandmother on my father's side was the one to take care of me. My grandmother is who kept my mind stable when my brother was a jerk and I was a cast out at school and bullies would spew every insult known to man at me each day.

 

But because I had my grandmother, I was a happy-go-lucky lil' chap, enjoying being me. School was tough, but I knew I had somebody to care for me...at least until she passed on when I was only 7. I've never been the same and her death was the start of a string of bad things to come.

 

It's as if her death took a part of me with, a part of me I can't seem to find, a piece of me that made me...me. I've been confused of many things, such as orientation. That's a very personal fact I don't mind sharing - that I'm a virgin who doesn't find super models attractive.

 

So, I've lived 12 years half intact. This song represents the missing half of me.
