1st if you have an image of Tanki that compares with the graphics of CoD MW2, by all means post it, I love Tanki, and its really fun, but I am not a blind fool who would compare an online Flash game to a DX10 game like CoD!!!! Take another look at that picture , do you really think Tanki can compete with that??? Both of those pictures show what it looks like in each game. Period. You have no argument.

 

2nd This forum is titled "complaints". What a genuis, what did you expect to find here? Perhaps YOU should leave if you can't handle people complaining about things. You see, not everyone grew up marching in line without complaints despite problems. Some people raise our voices when we see a problem so that perhaps it can be addressed and fixed. Thats how things get done. I have to laugh out loud because here in the US there is an expression used when someone has NO valid argument, but still wants to shut someone up. They say "If you don't like it here, go move to Russia!" hehe, ironic eh? :twisted:

I said it many times before, I'll say it again for those that can't seem to read.... Tanki Online 2.0 (if its based on the new engine 8 from Alternativa) looks great. Of course as everyone knows, and even koolwalky and Pin4er163 I think have pointed out, Tanki and CoD are two different types of games. a Flash based game, run in a browser, simply will never be as powerful as a dedicated DX10 DX11 type game. It's just not possible. Hardware acceleration for many features are not available to the browser game, even though Flash 10.1 has made HUGE improvements in some hardware acceleration. I hope I'm wrong and things change in the future.

Its really impressive and cool. Of course the DX11 version has weather, particles everywhere, and way way higher mesh sizes and polygon counts, among other stuff. I hope Tanki 2.0 will look as good as this example ;)

100 dollars? It's just a joke. You guys earn in USA about 3-5 thousand dollars per month. It's a nice price for Russia, but USA....... don't make such jokes. Besides, some times it's enough to pay just 10-20 dollars in the beginning of your carreer. Call of duty is another type of the game. Tanki is online game and they have prices like in all other successfull online games.

Use PayPal and don't use sms :?

 

Dude, my family earns just over 1 thousand dollars a month. Not 3-5 thousand. That is all I have to say.

Come to think of it' date=' I think I have a solution. :mrgreen: I think that actually, tanki should keep their crystal prices how they are, but instead make it easier to earn crystals on your own, by increasing daily bonuses, crystal droppoffs, etc. This way, players who don't have a spare five hundred bucks lying around can still reach maximum upgrade levels by earning. Though this way may take considerably longer, it won't take ten years of earning to get 10k crystals.[/quote']

Thats a really good idea. I have played for about a year now, and earned enough to buy stuff like M2 Hornet and others, but to get to M3 hornet from here means earning another 8000 crystals on top of my 3000 I have saved. At 100 per day, 3x per week, (LOL) it will take me about 26 weeks of dedicated play. Free bonuses are great, but lately I seem to get things like crystal buying discount cards and no-supplies passes, rather than crystals. I guess it will be 26 weeks of game after game of druggies hitting 1234 and running around as fast as possible with small funds to share. :roll:

 

Boy, a year and a half of play just to get m3 hornet.... I guess I'll have that paint I wanted in about 3 years .... :hunf:

i live in Ireland, when i started to play here, i bought some crystals to get an easy start, but back then i bought by SMS. 1 sms cost was 2.00 euro and i received 500 crystals - now i pay 2.09 euro and receive 159 crystals, which is SO NOT FAIR AND LAME

Prices are good. Is it so impossible to pay for example 100 dollars? I don't think so. I think that this is nothing for Europe and especially for USA.

Let me put it in perspective for you. Tanki wants to make money right? Good, it should. Now lets look at a very successful game franchise like Call of Duty: Bad Company.

Does anyone think Tanki is more advanced than, or more fun than the most successful game out there? Nope. I think it's great that it can be free and we can earn our crystals, but for anyone to try and say the price of crystals are a deal, or that $100 is cheap is insane.

By the way, CoD MW2 might be successful in the UK or US, but it isn't much successful in the rest of the world.

i agree with panzer-runner. The crystals prices were over-priced..... but now there are daily bonus crystsals, and apparantly it is still not enough for the tier 2 weps and chassises. The tanki 2.0 video looks really fake, like i mean the gameplay, but the real video i could tell is real. The gameplay is like so mad shiny, and like everything is so high quality. Idk. that version of tanki doesn't seem "origional" as in like its not the old version, like it doesnt look as fun.... i remember the times when i was so happy whenever i even got like 10 crystals after a game... and like everyone swarmed around crystal boxes. Now its just like hey i got crystals and you see people running around with m3 smokies and m3 hunters, with like 500 crystal paints. lol i know im getting off topic but im just saying, the crystals method overall needs to be changed slightly, because i mean like seriously, it might work out for the mid- class (what i like to call the isida, railgun, and dictator) but the tier 2 weps and the tier 1 weps are unbalenced..

That version of Tanki isn't 2.0 instead its 2.5 which will have support for your Graphics card. And the graphics are still getting better.

Tanki 2.0 is "better graphics", but it seems I'm not the only one who thinks that everything looks way too shiny and sleek. Therefore, by "better graphics" do you mean looking more high tech? In my opinion, tanki 2.0 molehill video seems like they made the tanks look more high tech, but that resulted in the tanks looking way less realistic than they do now in the current version of tanki. I hope the developers will do something about this "artificial look."

HA! Good eye, I had a typo in there, it should have read "Now lets look at a very successful game franchise like Call of Duty, Bad Company." I meant Call of Duty OR Bad Company. I didn't mean to imply that picture was of Call of Duty. Good to see someone was paying attention though ;) Either game, my point is still they charge less than Tanki for a game that looks way better and cost them more $ in development. Tanki costs too much for a browser based game IMHO

 

PS:not that I believe in conspiracies, but it is kind of funny that the image I linked to of Tanki in comparison to that Bad Company 2 tank disappeared at some point during this argument. Almost like it didnt want to be compared :lol:
