Two months have passed. You've been given two pictures and 100 words to describe them. Who did it best? Let's uncloak the names of the winners!

Thunderstruck.

To see such an assembly,

Of stars,

That hang aloft,

Each arranged by an almighty hand.

They are the eternal sentinels,

Whose gaze,

Sweeps over a kingdom of transience.

How many kingdoms have they seen?

Rise and fall. Rise and fall.

How strange,

That the heavens above,

Hold no interest,

To those who crawl around beneath,

Consumed in a senseless task,

Ignorant to the perfection above.

And who would have thought,

That all these thoughts,

Would converge,

Upon the confused consciousness,

Of he who chose to look up,

With a computer scroll,

Through a digital divide.

A cool breeze shudders my tracks, my wheels cold and worn. My turret has cooled from the endless attempts to thrust my tank up to the roof of this fine warehouse. Stars illuminate the vibrant night sky, almost giving me the sensation of driving on the moon. I gaze up at the dark sky, my flag swaying gently. I tell myself that soon, I will sail among the universe nimble and swift. The stars will guide me to happiness. I will fly over Railgun and Magnum, giggling with glee. All the turrets will look up in envy and see me.

In a clear night, I stand under the glowing stars. The Universe is around me and I am in it embracing the serenity and beauty of Creation. With defeat of others in my hands I feel not proud, well I cannot because I am alone. They want war but I want peace and therefore I have been deserted, but for what should I cry because I have my shadow, my most true companion, with me. Standing here I think, “We all run for victories but in this foolish process we forget to spend a night with Night itself.”

With pressure quickly rising, these tankers scramble for cover as the ground turns black under the fire of a Magnum high above. With no way to return fire, this is their only option. It is either do...or die, the dead tank serving as an eerie reminder of what might happen if they don't act quick. But at the same time, they have a flag to protect. For, if they enemy manage to get away with it, the battle would be over, either team needs one capture to win the game. Under the heat of the baking sun...they can only hope.

 

2nd place, winning 20 000 crystals: @colindestroyer77

 

"These guys are annoying", I've so often been told.

But in all seriousness this is getting kind of old.

It seems like Magnums are the brand new thing,

because they can camp up there and act like a kings.

 

And they brag about it too, they think that they're nifty.

Especially when their D/L rises above fifty.

They laugh at me since there is nowhere to hide,

but suddenly their laughter begins to subside,

since the battle is over and now we switch sides.

 

3rd place, winning  15 000 crystals: @DeathXHunt

 

The sky blue on the bottom, and the fiery red on the top. It is the map of Noise, where the Magnums' calibers will drop. They will surely reign supreme, as they set up their camp. Where they turn their angle seventy, and zero as their amp. Hail the mighty Magnum, where M3s shiver in fear, as an M1 turret takes its shot, and destruction is all clear.
