The problem with Tanki Yt'ers

Youtube in general has become worse, everything is about views and money these days. The Tanki youtube community is no exception to that rule.

 

From making videos just over 10 minutes for extra ads and money to ads every minute, English video's with Russian titles to lure Russian viewers, fake giveaways...

 

But is has hit a new low.

Now one of the biggest (and probably also most hated) English Tanki Youtubers ''Appie TM'' with over 25.000 subs is promoting freaking hacks, in a video that is (ofcourse) just over 10 minutes for the extra money.

Yeah, I also consider the same overrated style, using big fonts, NCS music and repetitive content as a trendy thing in TO related channels

Definetly true, especially the music, you hear the same songs everywhere

Sure it was always here, but it has become worse IMO.

 

I once reported a video from MrGamerMD (top 5 hacks) to Cedric, and after that his account got banned for hacking, it might work with Appie too.

Yeah, now it's kinda annoying to hear the same songs over and over, but I rather focus on the content which some of them is basically clickbait or the same repetitive content, as there is nothing new in YT :x

BTW I kinda hate the way they put the title

I have always avoided TO YTers for many reasons including the ones you mentioned, most make repetitive content and some even plagurise and profit from other's hard work. In short; most put little to no effort into creating vids.

I think Raphael2 was the only decent Tanki Youtuber to probably have ever existed. It's a great shame that his original (good) channel was terminated a few years back. Of course, what I have stated doesn't apply to all channels, I'm sure there are good ones out there that exist, but sadly, they are drowned out by the oversturated mess we have today.

If you don't like a video, then there's a reason the dislike button exists. So you can click that button and you will be happy :) . If others want to sub to a channel that's their choice NOT yours. It wasn't much better 5-6 years ago. There wasn't much creativity either; the graphics were bad and most of the youtubers used free screen recording software which displayed massive watermarks on the video. But no one ever had the intention to make money and fill their content with ads. The video quality has made a huge step forward. A lot of youtubers have bought or built better PC's and make use of the 60FPS feature which I believe was released in 2014. 

 

Nowadays the main objective of the youtubers is to gather as much views as possible. The clickbaits, fake giveaways,

NCS music that has spread like a cancer among the youtube channels and every thumbnail is crammed with gold boxes and cyrillic text.

I find it utterly disgusting that the commercial aspect has taken over and the creativity is lost. I even noticed that youtubers copy their own style of editing with the flashy effects that might give you instant migraine. Stinger made a good point that on the few ones that do produce creative content and contribute to the community are lost in a sea of (...) that's being posted.

Actually, since this game is owned and copyrighted by alternativa, they can copyright strike people and force them to stop uploading tanki videos. They dont do it to those yters because its free advertising.

And you're right, the quality has progressed, you hardly see watermarks anymore and editing has taken a huge leap.

However the content is all the same, and like you said all aimed at views and money. 

 

I do gotta say though, their videos keep getting views, Tanki's audience, which exists mainly out of kids keep falling for it. As long as it gets views they will keep doing it.
