Declined "No kill" mode during a gold drop

A idea of mine is that while a gold box is being dropped,you cannot kill anyone. Today, I was playing and suddenly the gold box siren went off. I started looking for the place where it will land. When I found it there was only 2 people waiting for it. Then, some guy with thunder started shooting me. I tried to kill him, and used the repair box, but the a shaft joined in and I died. Then he caught the gold box. Pls try to make this "No kill mode" real in the game. It will help a lot of people :)

The gold box is not the main objective of the game, therefore no such rules are necessary. It's part of the challenge to not get killed while a gold is dropping, if you want to catch it. A "no kill" rule won't make it more interesting but will instead be an unnecessary advantage for less experienced players.

That's the absolute best time for a thunder to make many kills.  So no... I don't want to see this...  Watch the lemmings run for the gold box and mow them down... <ahhhh bliss>

On the flip side, while that bunch of gold-diggers are piled together, the only smart guy in the enemy team can't destroy my tank while I capture a couple of flags.

it would be unfair bcuz sometimes you have to kill and push others to get gold this just decreases the chance of catching a gold

Seriously it's competition so as long as the rules stand you can kill.

But it's so fun to kill when there's gold. Somtimes i say "no kill, mir" and then kill when they turn away. sometimes i even change to wasp/hornet to cap the last flag to end the game before anyone catches the gold.

 

and anyway this would make buyers even more op, each time they're about to die they just drop a gold. and buyer clans could just get a couple mammoths to sit on their flag and take turns to drop golds every 30 seconds.

It's because usually the one that says no kill is the one killing. It's a mult tactic. So if you say it you would be more likely targeted and killed.

Usually i go and try to kill the strongest contestant.

 

if they drop GB every 30 seconds they are not mult they are benefactors. 1000 crys in a 15 minutes battle is better than losing with few crys rewards. And it's fun to go after the GB.

 

The idea has been declined many times now, so no chance that it will ever happen, so you and me are going to be killed during Gold Hunt.
