Improve Isida Sound Effect

 Share

Recommended Posts

All turrets, apart from Isida have good sound effects.

The sound effect of Isida must become louder and sharper. Its current sound is too low and blunt.

When Isida is attacking enemies, it must feature an attacking sound, and when Isida is healing team mates in team battles, it must feature a healing sound effect. That will make Isida better with its sound and make them more realistic.

the less sound  makes it easier to sneak up on enemies.

I'm pretty sure that taking a chunk of health away from your enemies would cause them to notice you, not the sound.

Nope. Shaft users are completely oblivious.

usually unless their smart ones. Typically sneaking up on shafts is quite a chore though if they know what their doing (and in Team battles if they have mates watching their back)

Yes, I want more attention when attacking enemies and healing team mates in team battles. Isida's sound effects must be improved by making the sound sharper and louder to make it more realistic. That's all!

For every bit that you want to be front and centre with your spiffy new sound defect... I like it just the way it is now, quiet and stealthy, no matter what you're doing with it.  If you want more BANG for your buck use a noisier turret. Out of interest what on earth could be a remotely realistic sound for an imaginary weapon, that HEALS other tanks?  "Ohhh there there, you'll get better soon little tank"  that'd sound great.

...Which makes Isida (unfairly?) more powerful compared to other weapons.

Considering that "an electromagnetic pulse that generates a stream of nanobots" isn't even remotely realistic, I don't see why the sound for it should be more realistic.

yeah like a zapping sound for killing and the hum style for healing

like a bug zapper? :P   I always thought something like the lightning gun from Q3 would be nifty, not sure if the lightning aspect would translate well, there's probably a reason isi has a beam now.  But it would certainly differentiate whats going on. All that said, leave it alone... quietly under the radar, isi style.

They should hook up a Hifonics amp to that sucker with some subs. Hard to notice an Isida until it's too late. Plus the whole "Oomoomoomoom" sound is kinda weak.

For electrocuting enemy tanks, Isada's sound effect should sound like a taser, a fierce electric sound. The sound for healing team members should be a smooth humming sound (but still sound electric). Altogether Isada's sound effect volume (compared to other turrets) should be increased greatly.
