Giving isida the ability to heal itself when healing teammates

Recommended Posts

Heyy i have an idea for the isida turret. Remember when it used to heal itself when dealing damage? Well i was thinking that since isida leans more on the side of a team turret....why not give it the ability to heal itself when it heals a team mate? But not at the same rate. Just a little bit slower. Sound good? Hope u accept this idea.

Declined

Isida's self-heal was removed as it was deemed too overpowered and game-breaking. We do not accept ideas about adding back removed features. However, feel free to post your opinion in this topic.

Its like bringing its 'vampirism' back again. You can always see health of your allies so you may just stick to one of them or probably an over heating Vulcan and never die..

this isn't an old idea, isida has never been able to heal itself while healing team mates. It has only been able to self heal when attacking no one or damaging an enemy.

But it has been able to heal itself by using its energy, which was the thing that broke gameplay balance and the reason self-heal was removed.

yes but this idea is slightly different. previously isidas with vampire could enter enemy bases and steal the flag alone simply by zapping everyone it's passed by. it won't be able to do so if we do his idea.

But with this any two Isidas can easily walk in and walk out with the flag by just healing each other non-stop.

Yes, and this idea would make it even worse.

i don't quite get you.. they're able to do so now because they can heal. long as they're able to heal they're able to pair up and heal each other. and what do you mean by worse? it's team work!

All they can do now is heal each other, which is already (arguably) overpowered, but with this idea they will heal each other AND heal themselves from healing each other. Which makes the "isida train" strategy stronger.

it is strong when you have to deal with one at close range, but what'd you expect it has the shortest range out of all 13 turrets.

Yeah but same damage from it at maximum range. No damage lowered. Basically extra range from other close range turrets don't really matter as much. What type of medic also slaughters opponents?

yes but fire and freeze are able to damage multiple oponents at maximum range. They also have 100% penetration starting from m0.  and they both have alterations which double their range(both range of max damage and range of min damage).

In the military every soldier slaughters, i know rules of war state that medics should be neutral but medics are taught to kill the same way as most other soldiers are taught, i know.

If you want isidas to follow rules of war then you'd have to make it such that no one can attack isidas, and they can attack no one, only heal.

now, you tell me, what kind of medic can't heal himself? (don't say one with broken arms, in this game your abilities don't get disabled  when you lose health ;) ,if you think it's a good idea for isida then you'd have to do the same for all other turrets)
