Allow mines in no-drugs battles.

Currently, mines are only allowed in full-drugs battles, but it should be possible to use them in drop boxes battles to. It would work like this: You collect a drop box with a mine in it, and it is stored in a box in the drug screen area. You can drop mines you have collected at any time, with the normal cool-downs. Any mines you do not use are gone at the end of the battle.

well mines aren't drugs, I'm pretty sure most players who hate druging have no problem with mines. every single player i've seen crying about my mines are drugers themselves.

what about allowing us to use mines from our garage in no drug battles?

Mines are supplies, so no.

 

However, we do have an idea (which I strongly support) to have an option of disabling supplies one by one, so you can choose exactly which supplies will be available, e.g. no mines or repair kits, but DA, DD and nitro.

yes but you can't get mines from drop boxes so you could at least let us use our own.

 

all i really want to use is my mines, they are the only supply i ever use. right now i have to face drugers in drug battles just to use them. mines don't make you more powerful or anything, they're different; some people don't even consider mines as drugs.

Well, perhaps only if their cooldown was made insanely huge. Like, 3 minutes and it doesn't reset when you die. Because the thing is, in a supply battle you can use DA and repair kit to counter mines, but in a no-supply battle if the enemy is placing mines around the flag there is absolutely nothing you can do to beat that. Capturing flags in no-supply CTF is already extremely difficult. Adding mines would make it near-impossible.

why does it have to not reset when you die? when you die all your mines would already dissapear. and you can easily beat that by killing the miner with magnum or get a mammoth/titan with an isida behind to step on them. and it's your own fault for giving someone so much time to place 1 mine every 30 seconds, say he plants 10 mines around his flag, that means you had 1 less person to fight for 5 minutes. you should have been able to bring the fight to the flag within that time.

 

i do admit i could be biased, excatly 97.5% of my supplies used are those you can't get from drop boxes (gold boxes and mines).

Because otherwise any decent player will place a mine down as they pass through a major attack path, so everyone will just keep mining and dying on enemy mines over and over. If you think about it - you catch one type of supply box around once every 3-5 minutes on average. So it would make sense to allow you to use mines only once in the same period of time.

with double damage you can easily kill 5-10 more people within that 30 seonds, with repair, speed boost or double armour you can easily capture a flag,  with a mine you'd be lucky if you even get 1 kill, and maybe prevent 1 death.

5-10 more people? Easily capture flag? Mate, I play PRO battles and I know for a fact that you're exaggerating  -_-

okay i only play with shaft and magnum so; with shaft it's obvious why, you just one shot anyone, i have the m1 alteration so i can one shot wasp:hornet with arcade shots. for light and quick tanks you dont even have to chase them with your scope, for heavy ones they're so slow you have time to scope them. and with magnum i can show you a video next time; just yesterday i only had 1 and a half hours to complete my 250 kills mission on my spanish account so i camped at the double damage drop zone at silence and colonia(i don't remember the english name for that map), i got 250 kills halfway during my 5th match.

 

and i just capped 3 flags on a map which was wo3 to major, with no drugs on my wo4 account with  titan+magnum both just m1, probably one of the stupidest combo for flag capturing. I can pm you the screen shot if you promise not to report me for inappropirate nickname.

 

and both wre regular battles, that means i relied on drop boxes to fight drugers.

 

and yes, i finished first in every one of those battles, that means it wasn't because i happened to have good team mates.
