Somehow, those tanki backgrounds make me cry from sadness. Can you allow us to change tanki background to something more normal? I turned off skybox, made dark parts transparent and pasted it over bliss. A bit of cropping and it was fast photoshop. Somehow it looks much better and it doesnt make me cry



Or atleast make skyboxes brighter it would be good too! In my opinion battle doesnt have to look like end of world, but something better, brighter. Even one simple box totally changes the look of everything else

Not likely that this will ever be done, but what you can do instead is turn on "Dynamic shadows" in the settings and that way everything will become a lot sunnier and nicer-looking.

I don't think the skybox we have now is that bad. Sure it might be a boring sight to see, but not everything is full of rainbows and cupcakes.

Maybe those special players should just play Minesweeper or something instead of Tanki if the graphics are not fancy enough.

Light yellow is too bright for the eyes, black is good and dark yellow too.

Depends how you define "legal." You can very easily venture through your cache and replace game files with other stuff. However, this was recently prohibited (and perm. bannable).

When you change paint textures, those changes I think are visible to others, and because of that I am thinking that if I do something wrong I can affect the texture for others and be detectable, or maybe the changed skybox texture will appear only for me. I'm not sure.

 

Anyway, I would like is for those options to exist for everyone.

No, they are only visible to you. Modifying the client only affects you.
