Have no idea how can someone not answer immediately: "No, drugs".

Send whatever amount of isidas in a standard battles without drugs and they will be gone in a blink.

Then, if we are talking about equal amount (or absence) of drugs, yes: isidas can make the biggest difference. Even if there are plenty of isidas not getting their main point: heal only the few good players and forget the many noobs. While most tend to heal everyone, which is a major mistake. Second mistake is when isidas waste too much time healing each other, while team mates get blown and no damage to enemies. Third mistake is when all isidas camp.

I know this but you know, your the anti-drug legend of tanki. Almost everyone drugs at this point a little.

I will not complain about isida until high capacity drum is removed.

But hammer was too weak though.

Yeah that'd be a promlem if it were actually true. I just played a game with a team that had 5 maybe 6 Isidas. We lost. Isida trains sometimes work and sometime fail just like any other tactic,

Just played in exactly that battle CTF on Osa and the Isidas were stomped into the dust. So much for that.

The only isida chains that fail are the ones with light hulls or those who do not use supplies.

5 drugging medium hull isidas are near invincible.

ISIDA is OP. It doesn't require any work TBH.

Indeed it doesn't; one can gather as sufficient XP to get to the top 3 players of team just by camping and healing everyone in the base.

I reach the top charts with one finger in my nose.

Must be fun to play like that.

Anyway, in terms of it being easy to be first on your team with isida, nothing much has changed since I started playing in 2012.

And back then, isida teams were also capable of ruling the battlefields:

But hammer was too weak though.

Hammer wasn't weak until it's range and pellet spread were nerfed for reasons unknown. Oh wait, the incentive was to make the Slugger alteration relevant.

depends on wheter the isidas are stupid. those who push me or get in my face when I'm aiming are more of a liability. sometimes there's 4 isidas on my team but all turn out to be brainless. also many of them focus on healing campers, i mean there's no point in doing that because if they die they'd just spawn right where they already are, in their base! the only campers they should be healing are the ones who have already planted 5 or more mines around the flag or choke points leading to it or the mammoth sitting on the flag.

but isidas tend to rule battles with 3rd lieutenant as the highest rank because they're the only one out of the two M2 turrets already unlocked. but at battles where all m2s have been unlocked they don't really make a difference.

This might explain the deluge of complaints about Isida being OP.

It's a tough nut - but hardly OP in upper ranks.

something to add. what i noticed on my lower ranked spanish account is that m2 isidas at low ranked battles tend to be mounted on m2 hornet as well, most likely from stinger kit. so yes, it's not just the isida that's 1 modification higher, but the hull and module as well. because usually 3rd lieutenants don't have enough crystals to buy m2 isida right away so it's buyers who get them. and facing m2 turret+hull+module with m1s or m0s can make isidas seem really op.

Really? I have always heard isida medium hull combo is insanely annoying in the higher ranks.

Those with medium hulls are hard to kill if they are MU'd to the max and have the proper long-range modules and are drugging like no tomorrow. You just cannot let one of those things get close to you. Unless you are Firebird or a fast-moving Freeze.

I see, I mean isida will probably beat firebird in a head on fight (without alt) and the freeze effect is too weak to stop isida.

Too many "ifs."

All things being equal isida and firebird both die - firebird first and then isida after unless it pops an RK.

A good freeze player has just a good chance vs isida.  Freezes that just sit there and trade attacks will lose - but they don't know what they are doing.
