Least Fun Night of Tanki Ever

Yesterday, I was playing on Highland CTF. I was on red.

The blue team had 4 indestructo Mammoths with Magnums, 2 indestructo Mammoths with Isida, 1 indestructo Mammoth with Firebird and 1 indestructo Mammoth with Freeze. By "indestructo" I don't mean they were impossible to destroy, but very difficult plus they used OD and RK. In between OD activations, they used DA and RK.

The Magnums were positioned (one in each spot) on top of the cliff where the house and tower is, behind the cliff near the flag, behind the wall and in the middle of the road a short distance in front of the flag.

One Isida healing the two near the flag, hiding behind the building and the other was healing the one on the cliff and behind the wall, hiding between the small cliff and the building on the left if you are facing the blue flag.

The Freeze and Firebird captured the flags.....all 10 of them. They didn't have to do much work with their turrets, they let Magnums do most of the work. They were one shotting us.

Red didn't have any Magnums. We had 2 Shafts (I was one of them). I had Dictator and the other was Mammoth. We also had 1 Railgun/Wasp, 2 Firebirds with Hornet and Viking, 1 Isida/Hornet, 2 Thunders with Viking and Mammoth. Red team doesn't have very many peek-a-boo places to hide and still attack the enemy.

Very unbalanced game. The other Shaft and I put a full charge on the same tank and was also hit by the Railgun. That didn't destroy him, but he loaded a RK. Then we were destroyed.

When the score was 5-0 half the team left, including me. Why the others stayed, I don't know. I saw from the lobby a few others joined Red, but they didn't stay long.

LOL, I can only notice that you assume (wrongly) that I'm part of TO and selling blindly TO odds and ends at any cost. Using (again) the connivance conspiracy argument between mod and TO, to undermine my opinion regarding this subject, looks like last resort act.

Anyway I will not amend my POW (based on the current story you provided), and let's say that I'm not a reporter next week, poof my fancy avatar and no urge/pressure to please my respectable admin, if I still post the same thing ... what will be left of your last trump?

Resorting to this can only demonstrate that you don't like people having different opinion and try to undermine their opinion.

I repeat it (coz you seem to interpret things) is your choice not to choose to protect your tank against strong opponent, whoever they are. Listening to your story, arty is everywhere in every battle, thus you do not change the protection module (1.3 hour of use) and then fall under it's shelling. If you put protective equipment against a turret that you qualified as OP, the same way you do for other turret (qualified as not OP), your point of view would bevolve.

I'm not looking to blame anyone (like you are), just to make you look at this from a different angle.

I'm not repeating the stuff about adapting to battle event, coz you're clearly not interested.

Of course play with zero module, that's what I call a manly challenge.

So you think Isida is not OP, let's tell the Isida's haters, coz they do see it all wrong, and let them now that they should worry about Arty instead.

Ultimately it matter not why you post consistent support for the Tanki Company but you do.

Actually I am an old goat who has seen too much stupid in this world so I suffer fools badly.  It is indeed a weakness of mine. But when I find an interesting counter opinion then we have a good discussion.

It is your assumption I "do not adapt" and it is quite the erroneous one. Once again you insist it must be some shortfall on my part as a player -  because otherwise my claim of bad design would be true. I do not care why it seems impossible for you to admit TO might have released a bad design, but here we go again.

Buying a new protection module costs income form many weeks and months of play. I am supposed to spend this resource, in your mind, because the game designers did a bad job.

Let;us just say your concept of solid game design precludes having one of those interesting discussions of opinion.

Again: The takeaway message for Tanki Company here is --- Better your design because no amount of sales or special offers is going to get my to start supporting you again financially.

Quit a battle tonight on Highland exactly because of Magnums.  Played in roughly three bad games for every one good game. Not spawn killing bad but consistent haplessness on the part of my team.  Thus is Tanki Online 2017.
