Hello once again!

 

After your second shot at the very same contest, I honestly think that the entries became significantly harder to judge and place, but nevertheless, here are the winners.

1st place, winning  25 000 crystals:

"So, this is what it’s come to? A never ending repetition of the same old story? Spawn, kill, die, repeat? The point? To possibly win and to brag with others of your victory? They don’t care. Should they? Well it depends on them. Although, it seems victory is far out of reach for me. I can’t think straight, shoot straight; can’t even drive straight! Look at me! I’m a yellow wannabe version of Maf! Now, I lay here on my side, against the world. But even they aren’t the real enemy. Attempting to get up the stairs while drunk is."

 

3rd place, winning  15 000 crystals: @DeathByBoss

 

"A land scorched by desert winds, desolate, and the only life we can find here is the elegant Mammus Isidus. Its invincible body and capability to heal its own is what keeps it alive in this hell. But the Mammus has one weakness. It's only able to move slowly, and as we can see here, this poor Mammus has been bested by these treacherous stairs. Its cousin Mammus Railgus has adapted to such predicaments and has evolved to be able to turn up again. But this poor Mammus hasn't evolved, and thus, shall live life on its side."

 

Getting 5 000 crystals as a consolation prize, @LaserShark:

 

Despite the advice received from nearly all of its friends and family, the Mammoth Isida has simply refused to go on a diet for far too long. It thinks over the poor chain of decision making that led up to this, the last moments of its life as the self destruct timer counts down, and lets out one final sigh.

He is solo, without support, but he is deadly.
He peeks out from the safe cover of the bushes.
Ah... He spies the enemy.
His laser aims.

"The mark of a superior sniper is his hiding spot. Not all snipers are as adept at blending in, in this example we have a poor, unfortunate sniper, who has everything else right. The equipment is well kept, he's chosen an excellent section of the map, with a good view of his opponents, but then ruins it all by hiding in front of the shrubbery."
