Declined Let us reopen our Clan thread even if it was closed for more than 2 weeks for a good reason.

So my idea is pretty simple and I am going to use my situation as example.

I have had my clan since the begining of 2015 till July 2017. It has been closed for inactivity and less members than the required. Now I know that some other people (friends of mine) also want to use this as well because their topics have been closed too and we want to get something like a trial. Here's how it works:

After the mods get the request for reopen, they check the reason why the clan was closed and decide to give the leader between 1 to 4 days to fix the problem. The moderators will keep checking to see if anything works ok. Both, players and helpers, will save time because it's alot more harder to create new thread and then the mods have to check it and approve it. Also the archive will be cleaner and the forum won't be full of topics. Now I have to make a new topic instead of practicing and training my team for the next Ranking Cups/Tournaments/Events.

Hope you understand my point, you may have better points or some critics against me, feel free to post and discuss here.

The reason why closed clans are not being reopened is that it is actually more work for moderators in the first place. Only admins can access archives and therefore it'd be me personally who'd have to move back the topics all the time. Furthermore we'll create a situation where any clan keeps closing and reopening itself whenever they like <-- more work. You say that mods check the reason? More work. And what if 1 mod decides it's okay to open, and other says to another clan that it is not, we'd spent loads of times fighting off the "corrupt-yellers" again.

Another reason is that closed topics are often not up to date, in other words, we are opening a topic that hasn't got a correct member list etc.

And last but not least, I find it not fair that you said that you have to spend time creating a topic now instead of practising, because I did offer to give you the BBcode of your old clan so you could litterally copy-paste it.
