Re-moded capturing CP`s

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about this for long time and finnaly came with it here. So. Basicly when 1 player caps a CP on a map with 5 or less CPs he gets extra exp, +50% - getting him a such called "Solo cap" . As you all know, caping a point alone ( on map with small number of CPs ) is very hard as everyone will try their best into stoping you to do that or help you as they want EXP and team win as well. First thing is solo cap.

  • + 50% EXP at uncapturing and capturing point if player is alone
  • There can be a different notification at the top of the screen like: "The "player12345" has un/captured enemy point" instead of just "we have captured point"
  • Condition is that map must be/have:
  1. 5 or less CPs
  2. Be made for maximum amount of players
  3. Not be private
  4. Have 50% or more of its maximum capacity filled

Thats first thing. Second is that when point is neutrlized but blue player tries to cap. He gets it to half-way of capping but then gets killed. Red joins in and stays at point. My suggestion is that red player should get the EXP for getting that half-way cap to neutrlized again and get EXP again for capping ( if he menages to ). Extra EXP should be only delivered when point is neutralized. I hope you got what i wanted to say.

CP already works in a similar way. The amount of EXP players get for points is inversely proportional to the amount of players on the point, so if you are capturing alone, you will get more EXP than if you capture with teammates, and if you capture a point on a map with less points you get more EXP per point than capturing on a map with lots of points.

As for the second part - it doesn't really make sense to give score for neutralising semi-captured points. The point was already neutral so by bringing it back to 0 you didn't really do anything for your team compared to actually neutralising an enemy point.
