Ability to activate supplies while still transparent

you guys all know that feeling of getting spawn killed, and one thing that can prevent this is making the supplies be able to activate at teh time of spawning. right now it is slightly delayed, just enought so that a good timed rail with double damage can take you out before your supplies are activated and you can presss 2. Very frustrating. this would be an easy fix and very worth it.

Guys I don't know what happened with the title I gave this, which is ablitlty to activate supplies the instant you spawn, I don't want you to be able to activate supplies when you are unspawned, that is just weird and pointless. The instant you are spawned, you have the ablility to drop a gold, mine, use a dd or a da. You can't use health because you haven't lost any yet, and this is only to protect from rails that hit you right when you spawn. Sorry for the miscommunication...

I read my previous edit before and realized it doesn't make sense. Whne you spawn, your drugs have that little light that indicates they are ready. if you pay attention, they activate a milisecond after you become 'real' (not a phantom) and that is just enough time for a rail shot to finish unloading its 'clip' (or something) and it will kill you. and ur just sitting there like *&^%*(&^)(*& hhh I was even spamming da!!!

Same with Magnums. It's a very good idea and I support it.

Do you even know what youre talking about? right now in clan wars there are clans who cross the entire map with 3 tangible isida titans and tge other 9 intangible members inside the 3 isidas. Once they reach the enemy flag they all jump out raise hell and only one of them takes the flag and brings it back to their base. if we do as you suggest they'll be able to drop minesevery step throughout their trip and be able to fall back every time those isidas get threatened. right now when the 9 tanks jump out of those isidas they have no supplies activated and will only be able to chose 1 to activate. with your idea they'll all jump out with all 3 supplies already activated during their trip.9 tanks appearing right at my doorstep is already bad enough i dont need them to have all supplies activated. this also means that just one tank with maybe 6-10 intangible tanks inside him can deliver instant death as long as he gets within range of an enemy by sending those ghosts into the enemy and havibg them drop all their mines together. right now what we do is have the tabgible tank go head on at the targeted enemy andget the intangibke one to go through tgrough the enemy once within range and come out from his arse, turret facing him. this way the target gets instantly ambushed front and back. This is very effective both agaibst enemies with freeze and with teammates who use freeze play ghost. with your idea we wont even have to worry about having to come out from his butt with turret pointing at him. and what if its a dm and someone spawns where you're stabding? he'll just drop a mine and yoy get mined straight away without being able to do anything. at least when you mine an intangible enemy yoy have to move away, during that time he too can move away from your mine. and mammoth now has it's invincibility overdrive. if one with 11 intangible tanks gets into your base and activates his overdrive they could plant 24 mines in your base while you watch helplessly. and once his overdrive is over you'll be facing the entire enemy team fully drugged inside your base assuming mammoth overdrive lasts 30 seconds like the current one.

 

oh and Godmode_ON has protection from all turrets but not mines. it's gonna be soo easy to kill him if we use your idea.

And then they can just exclude mines from the equation. So, while spawning, you can only use Armor, DD or speed.

having 9 tanks with all supplies already activated jump out of 3 isida titans right outside of your base still isnt a good idea. or those people hiding inside a mammoth with his new overdrive activated coukd wait till they activate all before leaving that mammoth. right now you have to hide somewhere to wait for smart cooldowns, when you're in that mammoth you're 100% safe because he's invincible.

Mammoth is very slow. By the time they reached the enemy side, all the 9 "ghosts" tanks will no longer have supplies activated. Btw, how often do you see 3 tanks with 9 ghosts inside them? Try to do that in Brest or Highways (maps with 12 player per team), they will not even reach the middle of the map with all the shafts/magnums/rail.

Your saying the russian kids who haven't left primary school are that coordinated? Or us english noobs who are that coordinated? Never happening. Even if we could speak the same language it will never happen in a regular battle.

obviously you have never been in a well organized battle. Those ghosts can activate their supplies one by one while still in those titans hiding under cover somewhere close to the enemy flag where they can block the enemy from getting out and going to their base. theu already do that now but for now they have to materilize first and risk getting attacjed in order to start activating those supplies. obviosly its not possible on some maps but its definately possibke on some others. in maps where this sint possible they employ different strategies, but if this can be abused in sone cases then it will be in those cases.

 

and i know it can be done at lost temple, trust me, it works very well there. get 1 shaft 1 magnum 1 striker and 1 isida to stay at base and 3 isida titans and 9 ghosts attack.

i am not talking about regular random battles. i am talking about well organized clans. In the normal battles you play there's hardly any use for ghost tanks but for organized teams you could be more threatening to the enemy during your time as a ghost than as tangible tank so i do not think ghosts should get more abilities.

 

there are clans who spend hours and hours discussing and practising this.

Yes I have. Especially in Molotov and Noise. It's easy in Noise because the spawn zone are close.

Nice Idea, but if we keep pressing the supply button frequently, it's activated exactly after tank becomes solid.

But not when there is a mine on your way and you realize it when your tank passing through it and it automatically become in visible mode,

So you can't save yourself from that mine.

But you can't do that when you are also moving, looking around and preparing to fire back, specially when the other team is spawn killing your team. And because of spawn killings... this is a good idea.

 

However this should only work for Double Armor, Double Damage and Speed Boost, not for Mines like today, and of course not for Repair Kits either.

When they cross the map they dont go directly. they move all around the middle of the map at random directions while coordinating with their campers so as to intercept attackers while making it impossible for the enemy to know where those titans are after they spawn.they wait until all enemies are focused at one choke point and distracted by far ranged campers. Right before those ghosts jump out those titans split up, with unequal numbers of ghosts in each so that tge enemy doesnt know which titan to target. and once they do get inside some of them surround and block the exits, others raise hell inside the enemy base while 1 wasps just goes back and forth capturing the flag again and again.

 

obviously your organized team isbt well organized enough, because i hace done it at lost temple. just because you cant do it doesnt nean it cant be done. if you spawn too far from tge 3 titans or 4 campers then self destruct until you do. its worth it, once you assemble your ghost army the 300-999 flags you need to capture to win is guaranteed.

 

and as i said, even if its not possible on some maps it still is on others. and if its possible it will be abused.

Well, it's possible. But in Lost Temple, you need 15 players that speak the same language. Let's say a clan. They will all use skype or discord? Ok, fine.

 

But how often will you see something like this? A team organized like that? Since I started TO, I only saw that a few times, I did that too a few times. But it was always 2, max 3 ghosts in the same tank, especially in Noise.

 

Organized team like that are not a big deal if they are that rare. Besides, if I would join a Lost Temple like this and see this, I would just leave. Lost Temple 15 minutes are already boring enough will all the campers and no one to help me capture, so 300-999 flags? No thanks :D

Well, this gives yet another advantage to druggers. Sure this might be helpful when you are a Legend in which all battles are pretty much drug wars, but for lower ranked players this just makes another chance for druggers to crush the weaker, non-drugging team.

 

If this was added, more people will leave Tanki, and the gap between the no supplies user and drugger will increase.

 

What would you rather have, 10 players getting spawnkilled or 1,000 players leave TO? 

 

Sure, higher ranks don't really feel the player loss yet, but nearly ALL of the players in my rank bracket have some high ranked alt.

I am talking about clan vs clan showdowns. not even causual friendly matches, like ones where this match decides who's the better clan once and for all.(or ones where people make real life bettings  :ph34r: ) and usually clans that have multiple units formed as one big clan or clans with allies who play from one server restart to the next with people taking turns to play throughout. it does happen often, but mostly in private battles so if you're not part of a clan that does this you'd never see one.

 

just think... there are russians who get into groups of 24 and occupy an entire deathmatch to do wasp fire to complete their 99999 missions. when one guy leaves another one comes to take the place. how are they so organized? normally they'd be in private battles the only reason you can see them is because missons have to be done in non-pro. join a russian clan with connections and you'll discover a whole new world you never knew about inside this game. ;)

Wow. I feel bad to say this because of the amount that you wrote, but you dont understand what I am saying at all... :( IDK why you are talking about mines and stuff... this update would only affect you exactly when you spawn. Did you read any of what I wrote?

not all supplies activated, your supplies are just avaliable to be pressed exactly when you spawn. They will work like normal from there, nobody will have an advantage anymore, not even those pesky rails shooting the split second you spawn when you dont have time to press dd

what if you remain transulent(not transparent i can still see you) because you are inside someone else? you'll remain like that until you leave that guy. during that time you could activate your supplies 1 by 1 and leave that guy only after you have all 3.

okay... i understand better now. but, just to check, does this mean that when someone comes towards me with his ghost freeze friend hiding inside him and his ghost freeze friend goes through me and then comes out from my arse he'd already have nitro activated? If yes, then no thanks. bad enough I'm ambushed front and back i don't need the one at the back to have nitro even befre i can turn around to get rid of him before he freezes me.
