All very nice, though some OD will really screw up playstyle/gameplay of players on some Hull/Turret combo.

 

For example, Hunter/Shaft (what I use, only thing I own as a non-buyer) take a deep nosedive...

 

Sucks to be me I guess.

Not really clear how it affects the turret. Specifics are needed. For viking. 

Specifics are unknown for now, more detailed information will follow closer to the release of overdrives.

And no, an indication of the release date cannot be given yet either I'm afraid.

I want to know, Is there any need to puzzle the game more and more ?? 

 

Since Group formation is there in Matchmaking System, I can enter any battle with one Mammoth, two Titans, one Hunter, one Viking/Hornet, then it will be impossible to take away flag from my base. What if this formation is there against your team? The game will be super-boring & CTF mode will disappear. Absolutely non-sense updates coming from Developers, have they lost their brain or trying to shut down within next year ??  :angry:

 

Please ask Developers the reason of this new Overdrive based on hulls and give feedback here.

 2 nuclears bomb droped by wasp, 2 invincibles mamouths pushing each other, a numerous amount of shielded tanks,...

your computer chip will instantly self destructed or you will lag and when back on the time track nobody will ever know what really happened  :ph34r:

Another Over-hyped Crappy update, this isn't even a tank-battle based game anymore. Instead of fixing the matchmaking system, giving more powers to players to be able to choose the map they want to play in, fixing the mess-up created by modules, making new alterations(they haven't been updated since a long time), fixing parkour because the repair kit is useless and making some of the turrets less OP, the nub devs are more focused on these dumb as hell updates!! Whats the point of this? Now everyone will use mammoth in gold boxes, players will start to prefer only one hull rather than try to have a more diverse garage and existing, non-buying players will be even more helpless against buyers! We bought our hulls for a purpose, now these updates will significantly change gameplay and affect us directly smh 

 

There are many good questions being asked about this new overdrive feature in this forum... When will they get answered, when will the devs clear our doubts? I'm tired of these crappy ideas. Fix the game and stop changing everything!!! Nub devs

Those nuclear bombs of Wasp are crackers for Invincible Mammoths. 

 

Also, I am talking about CTF mode, not Gold drop as well as these new graphics will be in HTML 5, not in noob Flash.

If Mammoth OD makes you truly invincibles, they will survive anything.

I heard you man, they would affect CTF game-play, but not only, other aspect of the game will be affected

New graphics on HTML 5, but the OD use and effect would be on any platform (Flash Stand alone, client, HTML5 and mobile).

These OD would also be tailored to work on the MM system, by this I mean on the new MM tailored10 v10 maps, all with similar size and reworked with more snipping point and obstacle. If implemented before MM (tailored map) then it's going to be an interesting era.

 


I don't like the new Zero Supplie effect. :mellow: Why changing it?

Agree with you that other mode will be affected, but maximum effect will be in CTF. Imagine all ODs of different hulls shared with mammoth & then mammoth itself activate OD & sit on flag, its truly invincible & immovable. This new OD will work nice if tankers can't share ODs, but without sharing, its utter dumb feature. I can't understand what TO trying to do/give us. #Confused :huh:

It's been 1 day since the full announcement  :blink:

 

Overdrives are still in active development, and we'll share more info on each hull closer to their release.

 

We've shared the base mechanic behind each to gather feedback and let you know what's coming :)

There are actually only a few Overdrives that have the ability to share it. I understood that they will work in this way:

 

Hornet: Wallhack and see enemy hitpoints shared for whole team

Dictator: Fulldrug shared within radius at activation

Titan: Resistance shared within radius as long as it is active (I assume it's not necessary to be in the radius when it was activated)

 

Hunter: Deactivating supplies for enemies within radius at activation, so kinda negative sharing ;) And the other Overdrives are not sharing anything.

Wasp OD throwing bombs means U can throw bombs from Viking with Wasp OD, that would be interesting -- fully drugged with Dictator OD, double fire rate with self OD and throwing bombs with Wasp OD  :o

 

Just Overdrives, Overdrives everywhere ....

Puzzle is another good word to describe this.

Sucks to be me I guess.

I guess they only want buyers playing the game, whom they'll spent like 10 minutes to find the right winning team to join to beat up some noobs, or with Matchmaking wait like 5 minutes for a battle, then leave the battle if their team is losing.

 

The new Overdrives sound nice to me, keep in mind that both teams can use Overdrives, so neither team has an advantage.

Keep in mind that most battles are one sided.

Gold Box will no longer be fun with these Overdrives IMO.

Gold are becoming less fun since :

-Spot visible

-Players dropping Golds

 

And now the overdrives. I think there will be more Dictators, Mammoths and Titans now.

Sounds like fantasy to me :lol: I don't think that it will be possible to share the bomb OD and throw a bomb by using Viking.

Yeah currently magnum do very little damage

Current damage range of Magnum is OK according to current game-play, I am talking about the game-play when these new Overdrives will be introduced. Need more damage for Magnum to deal with these Overdrives  :huh:

Why only for Magnum? Why not for all other turrets?

Very, very nice vLog (and the team truly deserved the vacation :p)

 

I wonder somethow if the overdrives of Viking and Dictator are balanced.

A faster (how fast?) firing rate for the Viking alone vs. a full activation of all supplies + RK for the Dicator + it's surrounding tanks sounds.. a bit inbalanced :p :p :p

 

But ok.. Dicators are a rare sight while there are a lot of Vikings (due to their superiority in the past). Maybe that's the attempt to balance that?

I hope not. IMHO it would be better to first balance Hunter-vs-Viking-vs-Dictator, and then giving them balanced overdrives as well.

But let's see. Maybe the Viking tripples the fireing rate.. then the things could be different again.
